- Tus vThis is one of the nicest camp grounds I've ever stayed at in Victoria. The facilities are very well maintained, and the camp sights are a reasonable size and clearly marked. The amenities block is well lit all night, very clean with nice hot showers. There is also a great area for washing up dishes and cleaning up after cooking with two very big sinks. This area is also very well lit throughout the night. Remember to take your own water, as they recommend boiling or purification for the water they supply. Overall an outstanding place.

The area remains open for access to the Big Drift, you must exit before 7pm AEDT.
The Stockyards is located near the entrance to Wilsons Promontory National Park in southern Victoria. It is the best location to start your walk to the Big Drift, and has a small grassy campground set amongst native bushland.
FOLLOW THE SIGNS FROM THE PARK ENTRANCE STATION
There are toilet facilities and picnic tables for all to use, as well as showers for campers only. Water needs to be treated or boiled before consuming, and is limited, so please use sparingly.
Stockyard Camp has good sized unpowered sites suitable for camping, caravans and motorhomes. Solid fuel fires and generators are not permitted. Permits are required to stay overnight, and prices start at $47 per site, for up to 8 people.
