Kitchen Sink Clog Cleared in Columbus!
Our technician recently helped a customer in Columbus with a stubborn kitchen sink clog. We cabled the kitchen sink line approximately 40–50 feet to reach the main stack and remove the blockage. During the service, we found light grease buildup in the line, which can commonly slow drainage over time.
We also noticed the piping in the basement had been knocked out of the PVC J-hooks and there were several bellies in the line. The customer had already shimmied the PVC piping in the basement to help improve flow. After clearing the line, we treated the drain with Zoom Bio to help break down organic buildup and keep things flowing smoothly.
Because of the condition and support of the piping in the basement, we were unable to place a warranty on this service. However, the line is now flowing through to the main stack again.
