Main Drain Cleared & Flowing Smoothly!
Our team responded to a home with a main drain clog causing sewage backup in the basement near the toilet and laundry drain.
We got to work right away—cabling the line 75–80 feet multiple times and removing a small amount of roots that were contributing to the blockage. After clearing the line, we performed a video inspection all the way out to the city sewer connection (about 70 feet) to ensure everything was in proper working order.
Great news: the drain is in very good condition, especially for a 100-year-old home!
We also:
• Checked the laundry discharge line flowing into the floor drain
• Noted a 3-inch sideways cap near the floor drain connection
• Ran all fixtures and laundry to confirm the mainline was fully clear and flowing properly
Everything is now operating as it should—no more backups and peace of mind restored!
If you're dealing with slow drains or backups, don’t wait—get it checked before it becomes a bigger issue.
