7th M E E T U P

Was great to have a girlie chat with fellow designers and creatives. It felt more like a support network this time which I think benefitted everyone. Running a small business can bring up so many challenges and not all of them are about the actual business. When things are going well it’s normally crazy mad, but good I guess just hard on family life and getting through the laundry! and when business is not going well it’s hard all round. But having people who understand the peaks and troughs of SME’s to talk to really helps. I’m hoping this little group idea will evolve naturally for the purposes of networking, support & friendship. It’s a bit sporadic but when people do come along they always tell me how glad they made the effort to come out. It seems as I’ve got older & since covid, people are less keen on going out out! It’s a real shame and I’m hoping things will change. I’m not ready for cocoa and slippers quite yet!
