Me and my husband stopped by because we wanted to finally explore the Amouage collection — we never see testers for them anywhere. We ended up discovering so many other brands and lines we only ever hear about on TikTok. What I absolutely adored about this place is that no one hovers over you. You get to take your time smelling everything without feeling rushed or interrupted. And when you do need help, the sales associates are close by, super knowledgeable, and really kind. I wasn’t ready to commit to a full bottle yet, so I grabbed a few samples — and I totally recommend doing the same if you want to explore without pressure.

ZGO Perfumery is such a gem in San Francisco! The space is super clean, upscale, and beautifully organized. Walking in feels like stepping into a fragrance gallery. They carry rare, unique perfumes you don’t usually get the chance to smell anywhere else, which makes the visit really fun and memorable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they make you feel welcome without any pressure. Parking can be a little tricky in the area, but it’s not too expensive once you snag a spot. Totally worth it for the experience if you love fragrances or just want to explore something unique, this place is a must-visit.

Hands down the best perfumery I've ever had the privilege to step into, the variety of niche, and hard to get colognes, and perfumes is unmatched anywhere in the bay area and maybe even in California. ZGO perfumery, highly recommend. A must when visiting San Francisco . A.J Garcia and Joshua Evans are amazing! Ask for them and they will take care of you!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at ZGO thanks to Ashish. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right scent. He took the time to present multiple options, carefully listened to my feedback on each perfume, and thoughtfully adjusted his recommendations based on my preferences. What really stood out was his expertise—he was able to identify the notes in a perfume I brought in with impressive accuracy, which made the experience both educational and fun. Even though the store was busy, Ashish still managed to provide truly top-tier, personalized service without ever making me feel rushed. His patience, enthusiasm, and deep understanding of fragrance made this one of the best in-store experiences I’ve had. I can’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for thoughtful, exceptional service at ZGO.

I went to a local fragrance shop and there was this young man there that helped my dad and I. He showed us a bunch of fragrances and was super helpful and told me the ones that was super great that we loved! The gentleman said it was sold out and went to lunch before we could check out but went above and beyond to recommend others like it and similar. I decided on one of his recommendations and I was checking out and made conversation with the manager and the owner about how I’m from Alabama how I loved the fragrance that was sold out and how impressed I was with the service. The owner went above and beyond and got the sold out fragrance for me!! It was amazing so now I go home with both fragrances in the end and they were so friendly and great vibe to the store and supported a small business. The employees and owner are passionate about their customers and their experience. If you want a personalized in depth experience go here!! I am from Sonoma County and have heard of ZGO through a friend of mine. I am begining this journey in curating fragrances, and I believe that ZGO has some of THE best fragrances in house that you cant find elsewhere. I have been able to find my signature scent by the help of AP and the rest of the staff at ZGO perfumery. Definitely will be back again to curate more fragrances.

Wow! This store is an absolute gem. Joshua absolutely made the experience. Retail greatness is such a treasure to behold but is such rare air. Joshua brought one of the best retail experiences I have had in years. He listened, he shared the stories of the houses, was extremely patient and there for us and our experience. He opened the world of niche fragrances up in an accessible and invigorating way. Thank you so much!

I’ve been into cologne for about 4 years now, and I honestly thought I had seen (or at least heard of) most of what’s out there… ZGO proved me completely wrong. They carry fragrances I didn’t even know existed — true niche gems. Huge shoutout to Josh for the amazing customer service. He didn’t just try to sell me something — he actually asked thoughtful questions about what I like, how I wear fragrance, and what I was hoping to find. Then he pointed me in exactly the right direction. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping you discover the right scent, not just any scent. This is easily one of the best fragrance shopping experiences I’ve had. From now on, this will be the place I get my scents from. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re serious about fragrances.

Joshua and Tani made my trip to ZGO Perfumery welcoming and personal. They’re incredibly knowledgeable and patient. You can immediately tell how passionate they are about the art of perfumery. The selection is incredible, with brands you don’t find anywhere else. I didn't get a weird vibe like I have gotten at other perfume boutiques. I will be coming back again and again 🙌
