I cannot say enough amazing things about my voice teacher. From the very beginning, she believed in me in ways I did not even know I needed. I came to her carrying a lot of insecurity and lack of confidence from a college experience over 20 years ago, where a former teacher told me I was tone deaf. She was genuinely upset when she heard that and made it very clear that this was absolutely not true, and she has proven that to me time and time again. When I doubt myself, she holds the confidence for me. She does not let me give up, even on the days when I feel frustrated or overwhelmed. I came in knowing almost nothing about lyric diction, reading music, or understanding keys. I am mostly self taught and used to just singing along with the radio. She has patiently and skillfully taught me all of this, breaking things down in a way that makes sense and feels empowering instead of intimidating. She is also helping me work toward a very personal goal of performing in front of a crowd at a very special upcoming event, something I never thought I would have the courage to do. Because of her, I am stepping out of my shell and truly growing as a vocalist and as a person. Her knowledge is incredibly broad and includes multiple languages. We are currently working on a bilingual song in English and Spanish, and she even helped me write and shape the translation so it would connect with and attract the entire audience. That level of dedication and care is rare. She is talented, passionate, patient, and deeply invested in her students growth. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their talents, build confidence, and truly find their voice. Working with her has been life changing.

Michelle is hands down the best teacher I've ever worked with. She unfolds each layer of what is necessary to improve your singing technique very carefully and deliberately. Each lesson is thought provoking, informative, and fun! I could go on and on, but all you need to know is that she magical. In 8 months, shes helped me unlock what was holding me back from confidently singing and being my true self. Michelle goes above and beyond to help you with your passions. She is hard-working and knowledgeable about her singing craft. During every lesson with Michelle I learn something new and it is exciting! Beyond singing, Michelle has also helped me considerably with other passions such as acting and songwriting. I was accepted to my top-choice undergraduate acting program with her immense help and generosity. I should mention that although yes, Michelle goes the extra mile and it is great, she does expect the same out of you, the student. We have been working with Michelle since February 2024 and truly feel ecstatic about Michelle. She does a great job in understanding your goals and focuses on build a solid relationship to understand your needs. Here are a few examples of what my daughter and her are working on: vocal skills, such as breath control, increasing range, lyrical diction, lifting & strengthening soft palate. She always explains everything, shows examples. Lessons are clear and organized. Allowed to sing and work on songs my daughter is interested in. Michelle always models what she wants my daughter to do vocally. I hear improvements in my daughter's voice and technique quickly. Runs her business well and never misses.
