Important Notice to Our Customers Recently, our restaurant experienced several suspicious Uber Eats orders placed across multiple days involving very similar order patterns and identical items submitted under different customer accounts.
After noticing unusual activity, we immediately contacted Uber Eats and requested an investigation. For subsequent suspicious orders, we did not confirm or prepare any food.
We would also like to clarify that restaurants do not have the ability to manually charge customers through Uber Eats. All payments and transactions are processed directly by the Uber Eats platform.
Unfortunately, our restaurant has since received negative reviews accusing us of fraudulent activity. As a small local business, we take these accusations very seriously and are cooperating fully with Uber Eats regarding this matter.
