I've relied on y5buddy for the past few years when I travel and have always been impressed by their device reliability. The battery life is excellent for all day use and I've never experienced any lags even with four people using the wifi simultaneously. I highly recommend y5buddy!

The WiFi was extremely slow, even when I connected only one phone to the router in Thailand. The service was terrible. Nobody contacted me after I made the reservation, and I was worried that it didn’t go through. I opted for delivery to my house, but I received no instructions or any communication regarding the reservation, even when it came to returning the device. And to this day, I still haven’t received my deposit back. Terrible service.

Do not use their travel wifi service, it doesn't work, we wasted our money. We rented one for a week due to the promise of unlimited data. When we arrived at our destination the connection was so slow that it too over 3 minutes to load a basic website. It was useless. So we ended up esim hotspot data via our phones to perform our jobs. You are better off using an esim hotspot than using Y5Buddy. Other reasons to avoid this business: - when you book the wifi device, they don't even send a confirmation email. Just silence. We had to contact them to see if we even had a booking. They score zero for customer service. - when you visit the run down office to collect the device, you are met by a front desk person who barely cares about doing their job. You get a quick garbled introduction to the wifi device and hardly any actual customer service. - when you return the device and explain that is was unusable, you are met with total indifference. They just don't care. We gave them the chance to address their shortcomings, but they ignored us. Do not use this business. This review is written by a different name in which our booking was made, but I am a genuine customer who was scammed with wifi that was unusable.

Have been using their WiFi router for a couple of years now. They have consistently provided me with quality service along with stable and excellent connection during my travels. Highly recommended!

I used Y5Buddy service for quite a while when I go to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and even Japan. The network is stable and so far I don't have any issue using their modem. It's recommended.

Rented a WiFi egg for my China Trip. Connection was good and stable while in GuangZhou. Speed was fast too. It is also good for the less tech savvy to use, as it is as easy as connecting to your WiFi at home. Good experience overall!
