As I come up on my one year living here, Xander on State has been my favorite spot in Columbus so far! The leasing staff is always so kind and helpful and maintenance is super quick to respond to requests. I love all this building has to offer and the new dog park has been perfect to pop out to now that the temperatures have dropped!

As my stay at Xander comes to an end, I reflect back with great gratitude and joy. My downtown Columbus living experience was amazing! Special thank you to Abi, the community manager and Israa, one of the best leasing consultants ever. While staying at Xander, I didn't just feel like a "number," but instead I felt like a valued resident - you can tell they genuinely care about people and I loved that most! Honestly, the entire current team at Xander from the leasing office to maintenance (Rico & the other guy) and the new Pool Tenant (she was professional & super cool), everyone is doing a great job, respectfully and making the property a fabulous place to live. Keep it up! I would highly recommend Xander on State. Photo credit: My mom lol

Xander on State has been an amazing home!! Love the quality, build and value for the price as well as the community. Living downtown anywhere else would pale in comparison to Xander. You really get your moneys worth here. Israa has been our leasing agent and has gone above and beyond for us. Beyond kind leasing agent - we recently transferred to a bigger apartment here - and she absolutely did an incredible job helping us. Definitely ask for her if you are coming to look at apartments! It’s a wonderful place to live! :)

AMAZING amenities (the pool was my favorite— very spacious and well-kept), secure/safe even being downtown, and kind, accommodating staff. There was a shift in management from Borror to Crawford, but both were extremely responsive. I’ve seen more community events and overall improvements from Crawford which is great. My time at the Xander has been overwhelmingly positive. The only reason I give 4/5 stars is because I lost noisy neighbor roulette— which can truly happen anywhere, and only for the last half of my stay, but did impact my experience. That being said, any construction/hospital noise didn’t bother me at all. So if you’re looking for reasonably-priced city apartment living, I urge you to consider the Xander. Management actually listened and took action when I raised concerns. Specifically Israa Stewart !! She genuinely cares about her tenants, and it shows! Extremely kind, helpful, and quick to answer any questions you have. Would 100% recommend her as a leasing agent to anyone!

Clean and well maintained. The staff are genuinely friendly, caring and handle business. The other residents are also friendly as well. I’ve been living at Xander for two months now and it truly feels like home already. Can’t wait to make more memories.

The gas lighting response from Crawford is inline with my frustration living here. To be crystal clear it was a Crawford regional boss that was beyond rude and inconsiderate, not a Borrow manager. My complaints about the dogs barking at 5am was to new agents, not old Borrow agents. I’ve made two complaints and apparently those don’t actually get noted anywhere. Please don’t pass the blame to the old management. My lease can’t end soon enough . There has been constant construction both in the building and all around it. They work through the night and it’s very loud banging. If you have a dog that doesn’t like loud noises it’s literally unlivable the noise is so loud and can be heard at every entrance to the building. There has been far more building maintenance than what they tell you on your tour. Once again if you have a pet they expect access into your unit for as long as a week straight. I’ve seen more than one homeless person sleeping in the lobby. Someone on my floor has dogs that bark at all hours. I’ve complained twice but no change. The regional sales manager that oversaw the ownership transition last year was one of the most disrespectful experience I’ve had anywhere let along somewhere I’ve dropped nearly $40k at. I hate coming home to this building everyday.

Israa is absolutely phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make my move-in experience seamless and helped make Xander feel like home. For her alone, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great community.

I am loving living at Xander! My apartment is beautiful and the amenities are amazing. The common spaces are all so clean and well kept, including the hallways, pool, and parking. Additionally, safety was very important for me when finding an apartment and after looking at 9 in two days, I knew I felt the most secure and safe here. Israa made me feel at home and love it even more during my initial tour. She made my move in process and signing my lease feel easier than it ever has before. She never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and even did a video chat with me a week before my move in to show me my apartment! This took away so much stress and uncertainty that is common when moving somewhere new. I highly recommend!

My leasing consultant Israa was amazing to work with as a first time apartment renter Israa was thorough/transparent and was able to walk me through different parts of my lease multiple times and was there whenever I had questions. The amenities are amazing as well
