Jerusalem center shops
The center of Jerusalem can be considered a shopping center. Ben Yehuda Street, Jaffa, and all-around have many stores you can shop at. It is usually cheaper to shop there than any mall in the city. The center offers you all types of restaurants - meat or dairy, pizza shops, falafel, Chinese and more. There are many clothing stores, gift shops, toys stores, and anything else you need. During the day the center is full of rushing people that are busy shopping. At night most shops close and the bar area gets crowded. The ice cream stores fill up and restaurants get busy. Nightlife takes place at about 8 in the evening, so make sure you get everything you need before then. The food stores close at about 1 a.m. during the week, but during the weekends they stay open until very late. There is also the Machane Yeuda Market which is mostly for food; fresh fruits and vegetables, bakeries and also some small shops and clothing stores. The market is very cheap and very loud and busy. shopping there is a colorful, interesting and fun experience. It is a great place to visit.
