Woodchuck Tree Service

We hired Woodchuck to remove two trees from our yard. We have fairly extensive landscaping and were concerned about protecting our lawn from damage. We were told by Woodchuck they would put down plywood or similar to protect our lawn from damage. However, the crew arrived and removed the two trees using a Bobcat and did not use anything to protect the lawn. This left us with caterpillar tracks along the driveway on the left side of our driveway all the way through the backyard into our right side yard with a good deal of damage to the turf and grading. We asked the owner to come see the damage and he never did. Rather, we were surprised to look out our window one morning to find a couple of guys with hand tampers working on the damage. They arrived unannounced and offered no apologies for us not having been contacted nor for the damage caused. I asked the foreman, who was present at the original job and with the crew using the hand tampers, why they had not put down plywood. He simply said they had plastic to use but they could not get to it to bring it to our job. So, they just decided to tear up our lawn rather than to reschedule or to tell us they could not use it and let us decide if we wanted them to proceed or not. Crew was in and out in about 40 minutes and did not clean up very well after themselves. Would not recommend, there are to many other choices that would handle the situation better.

Showed up 10 Minutes early and went straight to work. Completed the work and spent almost as much time cleaning up the debris, even small branches. Raked the dirt that had been disturbed by the equipment to level it back out. Polite and engaging. Highly recommended!
