Fergus installed a new kitchen with quartz worktops for me. His work was excellent, great attention to detail and he is a real pleasure to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending him. Pics speak for themselves.

Fergus has completed a couple of jobs for us now and happily recommend him to everyone who asks! (And even some who don’t) He works carefully and conscientiously, tidy and considerate of your home. He has plenty of suggestions and ideas to overcome tricky scenarios - SO much patience with our wonky walls/doors/stairs. Nice guy & great at his job.

I couldn't be happier with my decking. Fergus listened carefully to what I wanted and offered practical advice as to what would and what wouldn't work. I was keen to incorporate both the trees at each corner of my plot and I also wanted if possible to retain the planting at the sides, which I was aware was not an easy ask. He planned out the shape, making useful suggestions, including the style of fencing which would surround the decking to provide a feeling of being enclosed. He then checked on every detail ensuring I was happy before proceeding with the work. Once under construction, Fergus kept me informed at all times of progress, and checked with me when anything else required a decision. I wanted to incorporate a sail floating above the decking and he planned this too. Hard-working and very conscientious, Fergus clearly takes pride in his work - attentive to the tiniest detail which meant that the finished work was absolute perfection. He has transformed the end of the garden into a dream space. It is beautiful. I would highly recommend Fergus.

Fergus worked in our home and not only has he done a fantastic job, his workmanship is excellent. He has paid attention to detail in our very busy home and has shown consideration to the needs of our home whilst carrying out the work. His external contractors also played a crucial role in carrying out their specific areas of work to a very high standard. The finish is amazing and i cannot thank them enough. Nothing was too much trouble.The result is a very beautiful kitchen, finished to the very best standard. I highly recommend Fergus not only for the highest standard of work but also the highest standard of work ethic.

Fergus came and replaced our stair balustrade. Very happy with the finish and his approach to working with us. Left the house very tidy.

We were recommended Wood and Wire Joinery by a friend and we’re so glad we chose Fergus and his colleagues for our projects. They have so far built us beautiful new decking in our garden which was planned to the nth degree, and went up without a hitch, and which we still get compliments from our neighbours about a year later. More recently they built us a stud wall to change the layout of our bedroom, along with 2 fitted wardrobes. Once again Fergus’ attention to detail, communication and craftsmanship were 10/10 and we couldn’t be happier with the result. If you’re looking for a reliable, approachable and skilled carpenter, I couldn’t recommend wood and wire enough.

Fergus and his team were great, really conscientious around the house and flexible to any requests we had (of which there were a few). Really great, local contractor - much recommended and will use again.
