I used to be a patient at Women’s Wellness MD, but I’ve had a very disappointing experience. After my last annual visit in 2023, the office scheduled my next appointment for 2024. When they called to confirm it, I explained that I was expecting and had to transfer care since they don’t see patients.
Instead of canceling the appointment as I requested, they falsely claimed I rescheduled it and later marked me as a no-show for two visits, charging me fees for both. At the time, I had stated insurance, and state law clearly says patients cannot be charged no-show fees.
Fast forward to October 2025 — I tried to schedule my annual well-woman exam and was denied care until I paid these unjust charges. It’s frustrating and disheartening to see a women’s health practice penalize and refuse service to a patient over fees that should never have existed in the first place.
Women deserve compassionate, ethical care, not to be punished for life changes like pregnancy. I don’t recommend a business that puts money over patients.
