Where to begin, I had a late afternoon Power surge at my workshop that took out the power to my fuse board, and I had no power to my machine shop, lighting and power sockets. After multiple calls and losing all hope in finishing my projects, I came across Wirral Electrical Ltd and after speaking to Jack, he said he'll be there within the hour. 30 minutes later Jack and his team where on site and investigating the power failure. He advised that the surge had taken out our surge protector and that it would be an easy fix replacing the damaged device. He advised he had a replacement at his unit and went to collect, this was now getting late into the evening, around 8pm, jack was gone less than half an hour when he turned up with the replacement. And after another half an hour we had lighting back on, before his team turned the power back on to our workshop, they all checked over every machine and their circuits, for us to make sure no machines where damaged during the surge. After the power came back on we found one of our old drill presses, had a fault on it, jack having a maintenance background, had it back running like new in no time. Wirral electrical LTD carried out an out of hours three-phase distribution board replacement including installing steel trunking and replacing the main supply cable from their MCCB panel adjacent, the entire job was handled professionally from planning through to completion. The team worked efficiently, maintained excellent safety standards, and carry out the works out of hours ensured downtime was kept to a minimum. The installation was neat, clearly labelled, and thoroughly tested. We were impressed with both the workmanship and attention to detail.
