We went for 2 nights with a small work group. About 7 cabins in total. Overall it was a nice stay. We stayed in cabin 4. Rustic cabins are fine, but poor maintenance is an issue. The hot tub was the worst and should not be listed as an amenity. The jet knobs were missing or broken. I was able to get 4 of the jets working (out of about 18). The (waterfall) shot all the way across the tub and onto the deck, in addition to the overspray which felt being water boarded. They did provide a charging station, but it didn’t work at all. The bath fan was non-op, as was the tub drain. The pocket door was so rusty it was very hard to open or close. Light switches should be labeled as many seemed to do nothing? Lighting throughout the park was non existent, coming in at night was a challenge. Even ground lighting or motion activated would be a great improvement. At least lighted cabin numbers would be very helpful. The only outside light at our cabin was motion activated and did not turn on until you were standing in front of the door. There was no light on the back porch, where the hot tub was. The makeshift steps at all of the cabins did not meet the code requirements. They were wide steps with very short risers, and I did see a few people stumble, trying to go up them. As several others have stated, these are just recreational vehicles so you should not expect too much from them as far as the noisy heater and the lack of hot water. But they can be maintained so at least the bare minimum accessories do work.

These cabins are conveniently located just off the 101 with breathtaking ocean views, 10 minutes S. of Brookings and 15 minutes N. of Crescent City. We stayed in cabin 1 which did not have the best view, but we were still able to watch the ocean and catch a nice view of the sunset from one of our patios. For the most amazing views, I feel cabins #4-10 would be my go to. The other patio had a clean, fully functional private hot tub with a peekaboo view of the ocean. It was so awesome to be able and jump in it multiple times a day. The resort has a set of stairs that leads you down to a private beach which we really enjoyed. The property was at full capacity and found It was always quiet and peaceful. Just a few cons I would like to share, but they did not ruin our stay one bit. These cabins are privately owned and our unit was very dated. It had an overwhelming smell of cheap pine (from a plug in air freshener) that we immediately unplugged when we arrived. We opened all the windows and aired out the space, which made it so much better. This is a pet friendly property and it was disappointing to see the irresponsible pet owners not pick up there dog poo in the grassy public areas and on the sandy beach despite all the posted signs. Check in and check out was a breeze and the gentleman that manages the property is a helpful, informative and kind as they come. It was a nice stay and see us returning.

We came for a short stay during a stressful time, and this place was exactly what we needed. Peaceful setting, gorgeous sunsets from the hot tub, and a private beach that felt like our own little escape. The cabin was clean and cozy, and our kids loved the loft. The hosts were responsive and accommodating, which made everything easier. We’d love to come back for a longer stay next time.

Cabin 21 had a great spacious deck and nice lawn. Having dogs it's hard to find a place that accepts them and white rock resort has multiple dog friendly cabins. The cabin and jacuzzi were very clean. It was also very nice to have streaming services for down time relaxing in the cabin. They have a keurig with coffee and tea provided. Even though cabin 21 is not an ocean view you can still hear the ocean and it's a very short walk to the beach access trail. I would advise being very careful on the stairs they are very steep I assume this is the same for all the cabins. Our stay was amazing.

We love White Rock Resort and have stayed several times. It’s our favorite place to spend our anniversary or a birthday! This review is for the on-site masseuse only. During our last stay at White Rock Resort for our anniversary I decided to book 90-minute on-site massages for my husband and I, expecting a relaxing spa experience. Unfortunately, it was nothing like a traditional massage. The masseuse barely applied any actual massage technique — it was mostly her hovering her hands just above the skin or making very light, almost imperceptible contact for long stretches of time. It seemed to be more of a “chakra energy” or spiritual-style session rather than a real massage, but that was never communicated or advertised as such. We both left feeling disappointed, tense, and honestly more restless than before — a simple nap would have been far more refreshing. For the price and the way it’s presented, this service was a total letdown and not representative of a professional massage. I would strongly recommend the resort clarify what this service actually is, so guests don’t waste their time or money expecting a legitimate massage.

An amazing and delightful spot White Rock Resort is! The perfect location for sunsets, moon rises, romantic times and restful sleep. The cabins are clean and comfortable and stocked well. The large outside jacuzzi on the deck under the stars, with the ocean waves as background music, a very romantic touch. We had a truly enjoyable time, and will return as well as tell our family and friends to book a stay.

We had an amazing time in cabin #14. We stayed 3 nights. We enjoyed the beach which was only steps away, the hot tub in the mornings with a hot cup of coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine was incredible. We ate out and cooked dinner in while enjoying a beautiful sunset. The cabin has everything you need for your stay. We could not get the TV remote to work and they responded to my text and immediately sent someone over to help us. I have stayed here many times and look forward to the next time we are able to visit

I can't tell you how amazing our stay was. Everything was perfect. You can't beat the location. Steps away from a staircase to a ridiculously gorgeous beach. The weather, the waves, the hot tub, the insane view. OMG, want a romantic getway? You won't beat this. My partner is still losing her mind over it, weeks later.

I stayed for 3 nights in cabin #11 and it was wonderful. Peaceful with a beautiful view over looking the ocean. My pets were welcome and that was very important to me. I also went to Pacific Seafood Harvesters a couple times and enjoyed some of the freshest most delicious seafood I have ever had. You can’t go wrong staying here.

We had the best experience at white rock for my daughter’s wedding this last weekend! She had it right on the beach there that they give you access to and it was perfect! We had a few minor things happen and Edgar (maintenance) was amazing and so nice and professional he had them fixed in minutes! With the ocean view and the experience we will go back often and tell our friends and family! Thank you for such an amazing experience!!! 💕
