We went for 2 nights with a small work group. About 7 cabins in total. Overall it was a nice stay. We stayed in cabin 4.
Rustic cabins are fine, but poor maintenance is an issue. The hot tub was the worst and should not be listed as an amenity. The jet knobs were missing or broken. I was able to get 4 of the jets working (out of about 18). The (waterfall) shot all the way across the tub and onto the deck, in addition to the overspray which felt being water boarded.
They did provide a charging station, but it didn’t work at all. The bath fan was non-op, as was the tub drain. The pocket door was so rusty it was very hard to open or close. Light switches should be labeled as many seemed to do nothing? Lighting throughout the park was non existent, coming in at night was a challenge. Even ground lighting or motion activated would be a great improvement. At least lighted cabin numbers would be very helpful. The only outside light at our cabin was motion activated and did not turn on until you were standing in front of the door. There was no light on the back porch, where the hot tub was. The makeshift steps at all of the cabins did not meet the code requirements. They were wide steps with very short risers, and I did see a few people stumble, trying to go up them.
As several others have stated, these are just recreational vehicles so you should not expect too much from them as far as the noisy heater and the lack of hot water. But they can be maintained so at least the bare minimum accessories do work.
