Whitaker Dog Day Camp - Dog Daycare, Boarding and Training

We love Whitaker!! Our dog Winnie absolutely loves going to camp and always comes home happy and exhausted. Whitaker makes our lives so much easier with busy work schedules or sometimes just wanting a regular weekend day without having to be on doggy time. We are especially grateful for Mark, who runs our pickup and drop off route. Mark takes such amazing care of our Winnie and we know she’s in trustworthy hands with him! The photos we get from camp are a bonus too!! Thank you Mark and team!!!

We’ve boarded our boxer at Whitaker a couple of times and have also done grooming and day care with them. Every time has been fantastic. Our boxer dog comes home tired, happy, and looking fresh. The staff are super friendly and I like that I’m able to check in on him via text. Highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful experience. They helped my eight month old golden retriever and she is so much better after two weeks and she is when we started. From the initial call to the final drop off everyone has been extremely professional on time and knowledgeable. Matthew made it very easy for me to feel Comfortable giving the leash over for two weeks. I am very glad that I use them and would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you too the whole team!!

I needed my cat Mucca paws trimmed ( an emergency). They took me in right away and took care of him. Lulu was great with him. Thank you for great service.

THE BEST Dog Daycare Camp in LA! They were very friendly and wanting to help, the in home consultation is a great idea to get an idea of the dog’s personality. He was only there for an hour and already mingling with all the other dogs. Normally he is a very reactive dog so I’m beyond excited to see him able to socialize!! The prices are fair considering they help by picking up and dropping off your dog. Thank you, we will be back!

My dog has been going to Whitaker for over a year now and he absolutely loves his days there! I also enjoy the fact that they are so flexible and the pick up/drop off makes it so much easier for us. They are so communicative and pleasant to deal with. Highly highly recommend them!

Every employee I have met, from the first person to come to my home to assess my dog, to every driver that has come to pick him up, has been conscientious, professional, and do a great job of communicating! I have a reactive (insecure) puppy that had been in 1:1 training for a few months. He was still very fearful of other dogs, and I reached out to Whitaker to try to get him more socialized. The evaluation was super quick, and he started day care the next week. Britt is great with scheduling and communication. I got updates about how he was settling in, and the pick-up drop-off service is fantastic. I decided to board him over the Thanksgiving holiday and he looked so happy in all of the photos they shared. To be honest, I feel like he was a little disappointed to come home. While he was there, Aimee groomed him for the first time and took so much care in getting Gus Gus to be comfortable. I can’t rave about the staff enough. I’ve seen a complete 180 in how he greets and plays with other dogs. If you’re considering Whitaker for a shy dog, I highly recommend!!

We’ve been sending our pup here for over 4 yrs, and it’s been the best! The pick-up and drop-off service makes it so worth it, and on top of that, the guys who look after our dog are just the nicest and sweetest with her! They truly care for her and it makes us feel great leaving her with them. They’re also super responsive and flexible with scheduling. Highly recommend!

Whitaker dog day camp is the absolute best! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Our boy always comes home happy from his time there - we cannot overstate how much we appreciate Ethan and his team for taking care of our dog. Everyone is so nice and responsive, and one particular moment that stuck with me from one of his boarding stays is when the drop-off team member said "I played with him myself!" Having come from a daycare that leaves the dogs in a room to play with each other, this meant the world to me, as the folks at Whitaker take care to spend time with the pups and get to know them as well. They are also very responsive, and reply to any message I'll send them as soon as possible, as well as being accommodating. We greatly appreciate everyone at Whitaker, and look forward to more fun stays for Bonsai! :)
