Booked this park based on online reviews. Did not disappoint! This is an amazing RV park with stunning ocean views. Great showers and laundry. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. If you’re looking for a place close to Homer, but peaceful and quiet, this is it. Bonus: down a bit of a steep road is the beach, which works great for dog walking, looking for treasures or watching the eagles fly.

Traveling south on AK-1 was busy but straightforward, and the campground was easy to access on the right just before Anchor Point. Since we were going to arrive early, we called ahead to see if we could come in at 12:30 PM instead of their 3:00 PM check-in. They said yes, and check-in was a breeze at the small office, which also sold T-shirts, hats, fishing supplies, and a few sundries. We stayed in Site A, a back-in with FHUs (30 AMP). The gravel/sand area in front of Sites A, B, and C was wide enough for easy maneuvering, though because it had been raining we used 4-wheel drive so our 40’ 5th wheel toy hauler wouldn’t leave ruts. The sites were fairly close together, but not uncomfortably so. What made Sites A–C special was the ocean view from the patios. Site C only fit a short rig. Site A, on the end, also bordered a shared common area where guests could gather to enjoy the water views and sunsets from a high hill perch. Utilities were well placed, with water pressure at 35–40 PSI. Verizon service gave us 2 bars of LTE, while T-Mobile was limited to 1 bar roaming. The campground did not have WiFi, but Starlink had a clear shot thanks to the open sky and trees only along the perimeter. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay—especially the ocean view from Site A.

We have stayed two years now in the most beautiful Camper spot ever! Haley is so accommodating and super friendly. This has become our annual Mother's Day weekend trip! We love the views and the access to the beach for surf fishing!

Beautiful resort overlooking ocean and fabulous view of mountains across the water. Hailee is a very welcoming hostess; she and her husband are owners/operators. Full hookups, good water. Not far from Homer. Nice to be able to retreat from the busy town at the end of the day. Thank you Hailee.

We stayed 5 nites in our RV. If you get a site overlooking the bay, the view and sunsets are beautiful. The water pressure was not reliable. We wished we'd spent only two nites and moved down Homer Spit for several nights. Anchor Point doesn't offer amenities. From the Spit, there are RV parks right on the water where the fishing was jumping during our stay in mid July. Plus, there is lots to do...eat, drink, shop, and excursions. We drove the 40 minute drive several times, sometimes twice a day, to the Spit.

We really enjoyed our time at whiskey point! We stayed there between the 3-6th of July and it was amazing! The views were phenomenal! They had washer and dryers available for $6 and showers as well which I believe were $4 to use! During our time there they had a pancake breakfast at the office and we enjoyed that so much! That place felt like one big family and I think that's the best kind of place to stay! They also offer a military discount!

Cute little cabins & rv park with nice overlook of the ocean. We stayed in Augistine 2 nights and Redoubt 1. Clean, nice accommodations with decent proximity to Homer. Owner was extremely friendly!

The owner is so accommodating and super nice! She was so attentive with our little one, gave her stickers, craft, etc... even brought her kids chair for us to borrow! One morning, they had free pancake day for the entire campground, we missed out but sure it was good. The campground has showers and laundry and a small store for essentials you may have forgotten. Highly recommend!

I spent Memorial Day weekend there and loved every minute of it. You get a beautiful view and you can go fishing just about anywhere. I highly recommend staying there, but you better book early.
