I was photographing sunrise down the road and looked on the map for a breakfast spot. This place was super close so decided to check it out. I was shocked how good everything was and so filling. The burrito was delicious and a great presentation and the ham croissant was probably the best I’ve ever had. The staff was so friendly and mentioned they make the baked goods fresh every morning. You get a nice view of the ocean while you eat and I would recommend stopping by.

A great little cafe we stopped at for lunch while driving the Pacific Coast Highway back home. It was busy, but our service and food were terrific! We would definitely go back! We even grabbed 3 cookies from the bakery for the road!

Authentic place. We got great breakfast with properly cooked omelettes. Delicious food and coffee. They also have food to go including sandwiches and croissants. There is a beautiful Pacific Ocean view from their windows. Staff is polite. No problem with parking. Restrooms open for customers.

Great place to stop for breakfast in Davenport. Sit outside and watch the cars go by on a nice day and take a walk across the street and check out the ocean.

Over 10 years I’ve been eating at this place. And I probably always will when in the area. The food this last time was fine overall (I had the corned beef) though the short French fries (there was no real hash) were dark and hard. And the bakery section did not have the good selection it used to have: first time I didn’t get a dessert. Other than that, it’s a great place.

Great atmosphere and service, and very good food. The onion rings and "Whale City Sampler" were excellent--the latter included delicious guacamole and refried beans. The Fish & Chips was good, though not amazing--a bit underseasoned. Great milkshakes, too!

Really liked this place. We were the only customers when we arrived but quickly saw that it had lots of passing trade in the bakery section. We sat down for lunch, Chicken Salad and a Toasted Sourdough. Excellent. Then waiting staff were attentive and friendly. The place was very clean. Great stop over driving south along the coast.

If you don't mind drive out to davenport for this café, then this is your place. If you don't mind walking across Hwy 1 then this is your place, cause it has limited parking. Has a cliff over view of the ocean if the cloud bank isn't rolling in. If you want alot more pastry variety then early rising is best. If you are there for the food breakfast and lunch has soild options! A bit loud, but if you dont mind that that's good and plus you may people watch! Very nice place!

Simply amazing. Atmosphere, staff, view, food, everything was fantastic!!! Stopped in here by chance, and Boy, did we get lucky. The food is so delicious and fresh. Coffee is wonderful, too. Seems like the happening place for everyone. A special thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience.
