Our optometrist: Dr. Elise Kramer
Dr. Elise Kramer is an experienced optometrist who practices in both Weston and Miami. In 2012, she graduated from the Université de Montréal with a doctorate in optometry. While attending the university, Dr. Kramer attended a seminar course on the subject of specialty contact lenses. She became passionate about the design and use of specialty lenses, and after completing her schooling, pursued a career focused on that aspect of optometry. She completed her residency at the Miami VA Medical Center which included training at Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, which has been ranked as the best eye hospital in the United States by the U.S. News & World Report every year since 2004.
Dr. Kramer now works at two different practices to help patients with conditions such as keratoconus, myopia, hyperopia, post-surgical complications, chronic dry eye syndrome, and more. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and a fellow of both the Scleral Lens Education Society and the American Academy of Optometry.
