This lovely lady disliked her gummy smile and short front teeth. She wanted a striking beautiful smile. She wanted to see less gum and have a fuller wider and brighter smile. She also wanted a natural healthy approach to her smile design and treatment.
We worked through photos, X-rays, digital design and mock-ups to customise the smile she was after. We discussed all the available options and she decided on the treatment that best suited her.
The process involved whitening the lower teeth with a take home kit and a gum lift to remove excess gum to bring the shape of the teeth to a more natural look. The upper teeth were then conservatively veneered with composite bonding to the design she loved. We mimicked the texture and contours of her natural teeth, while whitening and maintaining a natural translucency. This gave a more vibrant natural result.
