I had triggered some extreme muscle tightness in my legs. I couldn't sit or stand at one point without constant pain and burning sensation in back of legs. Did consultation with Dr. Sarrat and started treatment same day! After a few days of treatment I noticed a difference. By Treatment 3 I was able to leave completely relaxed. Every treatment after I felt relaxed. They have tremendously reduced my issues. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! The staff there is so welcoming and incredible. They do not hesitate to give you the care you need!! I have no problem recommending them to anyone!! They are true professionals that set the standard. I hope to come back in the future for further care if my schedule allows it. The acupuncture treatment is truly life changing. Thank You everyone at West Knox Acupuncture! Dr Monica is phenomenal! The first time I went in, she listened so attentively and asked great questions. She made me feel comfortable and hopeful. After my acupuncture treatments, I had relief from tension and anxiety in my body that I didn't even realize I was having on a daily basis. Highly recommend this entire clinic!

I’ve waited a year and a half to make this review, as I was curious to see if the treatment I received would withstand the test of time. About two years ago, everyday for 6 months straight, I woke up with head to toe hives from my forehead to the bottom of my feet. My lips would swell, as well as my face and at one point my leg swoll so big it wouldn’t fit into pants. I saw multiple doctors including an allergist who failed to diagnose me, and put me on antihistamines around the clock, which hardly helped my symptoms at all. I was anxious, depressed, stressed, calling out of work, and at my lowest I had lost so much weight I barely weighed 100 pounds. I was desperate for answers and in hours of research I stumbled across a Reddit post where someone claimed to have their symptoms healed via acupuncture. I found Dr. Monica and saw her for treatment by the end of that week. She properly diagnosed me with MCAS, histamine intolerance, alpha-gal and a mold allergy. Within DAYS of her treatment using the SAAT method, my hives were gone. As mentioned, that was about a year and a half ago and to this day I have not had a single hive or any other symptom I was experiencing. I was able to quit taking all the ridiculous medications the allergist prescribed, gained back the weight I had lost, eat red meat again, and got my life back. I am the healthiest I have been in my entire adult life. It meant everything to me to have my health restored from what was the lowest point in my entire life. I am eternally grateful to Dr. Monica and her team. I’ve told absolutely everyone I know about my success in using acupuncture to treat these things. It amazes me how affordable, efficient, effective and non-invasive acupuncture can be. If you’re thinking about seeing Dr. Monica, PLEASE DO IT.

Dr. Monica has been instrumental in my journey with endometriosis & SIBO. She is so knowledgeable and provides a more holistic viewpoint than I receive from my other traditional medicine care teams. Acupuncture is a very valuable tool in my toolkit for managing these conditions. I go regularly during certain times of the month in accordance with my cycle and when I feel the most pain. I can tell that it helps me and I really miss it/can feel negative impacts if I have to miss appointments. I love Dr. Monica and her team and I’m immensely grateful for them!

Dr. Monica and the entire WKA Team are incredible! I will never forget my first consultation with Dr. Monica about some very intense stomach pain I had been having for months that would happen after almost everything I ate. I was so discouraged. For multiple years I have suffered from osteoarthritis in both hands. My hands had become so swollen and painful that I often cried from the pain caused by picking up or carrying items that weighed more than a few pounds; completing tasks on the computer was becoming the “one finger peck on the keys”; and just the idea of needing to shake hands with anyone was enough to cause me to avoid activities where that would be expected. I also have osteoarthritis in my right foot often causing me pain that requires changing shoes multiple times during a day or staying off my feet completely. On multiple occasions our daughter had suggested trying acupuncture. I brushed these suggestions aside rationalizing that I was already in pain and the idea of needles in my hands and foot made me cringe. After days of coaxing, my daughter drove me to West Knox Acupuncture to make an appointment for consultation. I so much wish that I had agreed to this sooner. Thanks to Dr. A.J. Sarrat and his wonderful staff, my arthritis pain is much relieved. I no longer cry from pain in my hands or foot. I am now able to use my hands to complete tasks that I had previously been hesitant to even try, and wearing a shoe is no longer a dreadful undertaking. Dr Sarrat takes the time to answer or clarify any questions/ concerns you might have. I was skeptical in the beginning, but this really works! I went through 10 years of allergy shots, only to still be allergic to the same allergens. Taking the same amount of medicine every day. After 3 weeks of the SAAT treatment, my allergy is gone! I no longer need antihistamines to hold my cat. It’s amazing.

I have received acupuncture from Dr. Monica for a year now and it has been a wonderful experience all around. From the first visit she took her time to listen and develop a care plan best suited for my needs. She is knowledgeable and compassionate and always helped with any resources I needed. Both Samantha and Dani are valuable assets to the experience as well. Communication has always been superb and timely. The staff here is so amazing and welcoming. During my introduction session, Dr. Monica was patient and thorough—she didn’t try to rush me and wanted to fully understand what I needed help with. They developed a well thought out and easily planned care schedule. It’s been a couple of months and I’ve experienced tremendous help with chronic muscle pain, women’s health issues, and general anxiety.
