Let’s clear up some misconceptions about ACUPUNCTURE and the “needles” we use.
Take a closer look at the acupuncture needles in this photo. Did you really have to zoom in to see it, because I did! The part you are seeing, the handle of the needle, is bigger than what is actually inserted into the skin. The actual needle is almost as fine as strand of thick hair!
So does it hurt?! When correctly done by a well trained doctor, the procedure should be virtually painless. Our treatments are meant to relieve pain, not cause it!!
