🤩 what a special day I had at powderham castle for the West Country Women Awards finalist announcement on 2025!
There was tea and cake to kick off the event held in a stunning room where you couldn’t help but feel special. If that wasn’t enough we were then surrounded by amazing woman with so many different stories and achievements.
Alexis Bowater OBE had inspiring words to start the big reveal of this year’s finalists.
With little golden envelopes the finalists for each category was revealed 🫶
I am very proud to say I have reached finalist status in two categories;
The green business of the year sponsored by Cavanna Homes
The woman in property and construction sponsored by Ian Williams Ltd
As a lady in drainage who would have thought our industry would have a chance with so many other industries in the mix.
We have paved a way to showcase how important drainage is and to help create awareness of environmental friendly solutions. Protection of our environment and rivers is non negotiable and we are proud to have highlighted the importance of our tasks.

Whatever happens next month being a finalist is absolutely the highlight of the year for me and our story so far.
