Our customer is selling her house with a septic tank discharging to a drainage field.
After investigation the septic tank is in a very poor state with a pooling drainage field to boot!
The area of grass is soddened with effluent meaning both septic tank and drainage field are insufficient and require upgrading.
This is classed as a clear case of pollution and would need immediate attention.
On a good note at least a compliant system will be recommended ready for the house to go on for sale when a new one is fitted.
