No we charge a fixed rate for transparency, charging on a half hour basis can be extremely expensive for a client. Believe me when I say I have seen customer invoices totalling £1000 for an unblock!
There is normally a reason if the blockage can not be cleared such as collapsed pipe. Spending hours on site is fruitless and unfair on the customer.
We will diagnose any uncleared blockages within our time on site, it’s our job to look after our clients not to take money unnecessarily.
