Earlier this month I nervously visited a dentist office for the first time in over 30 years. I had a toothache for a few days and a coworker recommended Wellspring, the office she has visited for many years. As you might imagine this visit did not go well after half of a lifetime of avoiding the dentist. I have a broken tooth and a few cavities that will need to be treated. My first step was to get them cleaned up, which involved a process called scaling. This removed years of built up calculus and tartar from between my teeth and below the gum line with sound waves. I was very scared but the young lady, Brianah, reassured me it would be painless...echoing the sentiment I heard at that first contact. The upper and lower right side was cleaned. Brianah applied numbing gel to my gums prior to what would be my first ever experience with Novocaine and of the 5 shots I received I felt the first one only barely. It was over in about 75 minutes. When the Novocaine finally wore off later that afternoon not only did my gums feel ok but the original toothache I had been suffering with was gone, too. It has been nearly three days and the pain is still gone. Thank you, Wellspring for helping me, I am not dreading the scaling part two and everything else that will eventually be needed because of the care your office provided me.
