Wellness Animal Hospital - Bradenton

I can’t say enough great things about wellness animal hospital. We moved here 3 years ago and this was our first choice of vets in the area. We are so lucky to have them caring for our 3 cats. Our 2 elderly fur babies seem to be frequent fliers there and they are always accommodating with appts and return calls. The entire staff is amazing but I have to mention DR LUNA AND FALLON as our shining stars. Their compassion, honesty, and love for the ”patients” is outstanding. We had to say good bye to our eldest, Rocky, yesterday. We made an appt with another home service but Dr Luna was quick to call us to ask if she could it. I’ve never had a vet care enough to offer to come to our house and carry this out. Rocky knew and trusted her and she let us have all the time we needed for our goodbyes. He was treated like the prince he is and will be forever missed💔

Unfortunately my ferret was having an emergency and was in visible pain. I called their office and they were able to get us in immediately without an appointment or prior history. When I arrived my ferret was audibly in pain and suffering and the staff was ready with sedative at the door and swiftly put her at ease. Sadly there was nothing they could do for her and provided the necessary procedure within minutes. The staff was professional and comforting even under the circumstances. The doctor explained every step of the procedure and made sure my ferret and I were comfortable until the end. 10/10 would recommend this location for any of my animals.

Dr Luna and the staff here are all amazing. They took amazing care of my boy Blu. They explained his medication and all his lab results. Aubrey was the sweetest with him and gave him lots of snuggles before we left. They are very detailed and I will recommend all my friends to come here.

For the care of my sweet cat Gryphon, I couldn't have found anyone better. This establishment was so kind, they put in so much effort into the care of my cat even after he was diagnosed with FeLV and were so so amazing until the very end. Their establishment is affordable compared to most, doesn't push any kind of paid membership like Banfield, their veterinarians and vet techs were so nice and well educated, and their schedule and communication is wonderful. Even after my kitten passed, they gave me a hand signed and written card and note, a small jar of his fur, his paw print, and so many hugs. Dr. Luna and Morgan our vet tech were so sweet, but then again so was everyone I met and talked to. Love love love this place. Thank you so much for everything, Wellness Animal Hospital. ❤️

My first time bringing my cat. Gracie is feisty and she loved them. The staff was very kind and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely come back. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰

I wish I was able to give a true rating for the veterinarian himself but the woman answering the phone in the afternoon was enough to make us decide not to patronize this establishment. My daughter has an inside cat who doesn't really have any health problems. But when there's an issue, we have him seen. He has a rash on his belly. And my daughter called today to see if the cat could be seen sooner that tomorrow. And she was met with a lot of contempt from the woman at the front desk. She asked my daughter about previous health records and my daughter told her that the cat's not sick very often. So the cat doesn't really have consistant records. She immediately gave my daughter a lot of attitude. And when my daughter was taken aback and said, okay, I think I'll just go ahead and cancel the appointment. The woman said "that's great". When my daughter initially scheduled the appointment after after speaking to someone very early in the morning.She said the woman on the phone was absolutely wonderful. I don't know who's answering your phones in the afternoons.But this person is scarying away potential business.

We rescued a pup that needed immediate attention. Blair was able to get us worked in quickly, with next day appointment availability. Dr.Nina and here assistant were attentive to our immediate needs but also worked to put together a longterm treatment plan for our sweet girl. Happy to call Wellness Animal Hospital our home for vet care and cannot recommend them enough!

SHAMEFUL and misdiagnosed. If you choose to come here, get a 2nd opinion on what they are diagnosing your pet for before allowing them to do ANYTHING. This is very very important as my 10lb shitzu was misdiagnosed with an eye infection. They told us Oliver needed to have surgery for cysts in his eyes. LONG STORY SHORT, HE DOESNT HAVE CYSTS IN HIS EYES, NO SURGERY NEEDED AND HAS 2 eye infections. The new vet that we have taken Oliver to ran over $600.00 in tests and everything with our fur baby will be ok. The probable cause of the 2 eye infections that showed up 24 hrs after we took Oliver to Dr. Nina's ofc most likely came from unwashed hands from Wellness Animal Hospital when the vet was examining Oliver's eyes. My husband even confronted the vet about NOT WASHING her hands. Im soooo upset and angry. Please be careful in your choice...

Needed an urgent appointment with my two dogs and all other urgent clinics had no availability. Dr. Nina was extremely friendly and so was her staff! We were taken in right away and we’re in and out of there quickly. Extremely pleased with the practice and Dr. Nina is so very nice! She listens to your concerns instead of rushing you! We will definitely be going back.

I can’t say enough good! Dr Nina and her staff are nothing short of amazing. Dr Nina has so much patience and goes above and beyond to do what she can to help your fur baby! I will be forever thankful for walking through those doors! She did everything she could to help our Sophie. Unfortunately we just lost our Sophie girl and Dr Nina and her staff were so kind and made the process as comfortable as that process can be.
