For Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m demonstrating a quick little 5-minute treatment that I add on for many of my patients to help calm the nervous system and reduce anxiety.
Putting the Y-probe on the neck just behind the SCM muscle and using a specific frequency, we’re able to tone the Vagus Nerve (which is a key part of the autonomic nervous system) to reduce heart rate, and support a more rest and digest state of being.
Treating the Vagus Nerve in this way reduces anxiety, regulate blood pressure, and regulate the nervous system.
