Wanda's Water Heaters

My water heater starting leaking on my business on Friday and I was in a panic to find someone. My wife went to take a hot shower and no hot water came out so we all know what that means. I march down into the basement knowing my old propane Bradford white water heater was toast. Sure enough it is. I scramble to make calls to get a plumber here and everyone says days or weeks out. You would think finding someone to replace a water heater in scarborough maine would be easy but apparently it's not! Finally someone recommends Wanda's water heaters so I give them a call. I get a nice young lady to answer and says she can send a tech out within the next 2 hours! I said sign me up. The techs came out and they were very professional, told me they had new heaters on the truck and even explained why I should upgrade to a hybrid heat pump water heater because of the energy savings and the maine rebates currently offering. Sign me up! They had my water heater replaced and running within hours it was amazing. My wife was so relieved she didn't need to be without hot water all weekend. Thanks again to the team at Wanda's and they also took all my.old water heaters for free to dispose of. It looked like a heater graveyard down there. I would recommend anyone in Southern maine to call them next time they need a water heater replaced.

wandas water heaters came over and worked on my navient water heater. They found the problem and fixed is super fast. I was surprised they serviced out in cape Elizabeth and didn't try to charge me crazy money like the other companies in the big green vans. We all know who they are. Wanda's did a great job at a fair price. I'd give them a 10 if I could! And they are locally owned to boot! Thank you Wanda!!

I had an old electric water heater that was rusted out. They came out and installed a new gas propane water heater. I couldn't be happier. Glad they came out past windham into casco to work at my house on sebago lake. It's hard getting quality trades people out this way. Thanks again

Wanda came out to service my rinnai om demand water heater within hours of calling which is superb as we are out on great diamond island. They jumped on the casco bay ferry to come help a little old lady get her water running again!!! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Very friendly and knowledgeable

When my 50 gallon electric water heater started producing scalding hot water one night and then cold water the next day I called about 8 plumbers in the area. Wanda’s Water Heaters called me back first and sent a technician out as fast as they could. Alexander diagnosed that the water heater had died and that my water heater was in fact so old that they don’t even make parts for it anymore. He presented me with all of my options and gave me quotes to compare if I wished to. The diagnosis and the quotes were all free which I really appreciated. I ended up going with the 50 gallon heat pump water heater which will save my household money in the long run, and can still run a solid hot bath (actually my baths are better than ever). This water heater is a bit pricier up front than just replacing the electric but it will save me much more money in electricity bills in the long run and there’s a tax form I can fill out for a tax credit for 2025. He was even able to install the new water heater the next day, which was amazing as it really was quite stressful not having hot water. Alexander made sure to bring all of my setup up to code which I didn’t even know it wasn’t before! The technician, Alexander, of Wanda’s Water Heaters was nothing short of professional, kind, and efficient. It can be uncomfortable having strangers in one’s home when navigating these sort of household issues that are bound to arise, but this was not an issue as he was respectful and professional. I asked about the name of the business and apparently it’s a family business and they provide more plumbing services than just water heater repair & installation. I will be keeping their information for future plumbing projects. I highly recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves in need of a hot water heater repair or installation.

I'm happy to be posting a great review for a great company. Our water heater was nearing 15 years old. It started leaking from the bottom. I got bids from several companies in the area. When wanda's techs came out they explained everything to me perfectly and what they offered including there warranty. I was very impressed with that and felt the price was fair. They showed up exactly on time took about two hours and even cleaned up some junk I had in the way in the basement. Very friendly answered all my questions and explained all.

I was shocked at how quickly they got here and took care of everything! Other places wouldn’t even call back. They made an appointment on the first call and showed up! Super happy with the work and the professionalism. Hopefully won’t need another water heater but they fixed some other issues at the same time and I would 100% use them again!

Responsive, respectful and at a third the price I was quoted by another company for replacement of my hybrid electric water heater! My last tank failed, had a mess and the guys responded right away and 3 hours later it was done! Chad was great! Thank you!
