Myyyyyy goodness! Where do I even start?!
We got the call that you don't ever really get excited about. We had a tree about 14 foot circumference around the base and about 200 or better foot tall lay over onto our home. With the rains and other circumstances, that old tree just couldn't hold the ground anymore. It laid completely over our home and even pinned my brand new car that was UNDER a metal carport.
We invested in a great insurance company when we bought this place so we never questioned who they chose to come wrap up the tree issue after the electric company did what they had to do to get power restored to everyone one else around. Knowing that our meter was completely removed until further notice, these guys in BIG trucks confidently rolled through our gate not knowing this private road housed five families, two businesses and two seasonal residents.
I have to be completely honest when I say that I thought they looked pretty young! But if they had any doubts about the challenge they had before them, they sure didn't let it show. I did hear several times, "That's a big ol tree!"
Cade, Gage, Michael, Dillon and Cooper came back the next day with big trucks and big boy toys in tow. There was not a lot of wiggle room but they clearly spent some time pre-planning set up, execution of goals, plan A-D if need be AND the cleanup. These young men showed up clean cut, clean shaven with shirts tucked in and left the first day dirty & sweaty from head to toe with their shirts still tucked in and the same positive respectful attitude as if that monster of a tree was no challenge at all.
I'll let the photos speak for themselves. These young men had their work cut out for them. They worked for hours the first day before breaking to refuel their bodies with lunch. The second day, I called on my way home from work (5pm) and they were just then taking lunch! They didn't quit until the massive root ball was lifted. That was long after dark. Then they came back on day three to clean up every bit of chaos to help a terrible situation start looking like it was gut punched by the good guy(s).
I can't imagine the exhaustion they all felt both long days. And I can't imagine I'd be able to muster up a phone call to a property owner asking "How big do you want these pieces cut and where do you want them stacked" after battling two days to cut Big Bertha down with minimal damage to structures as possible. That's not even adding rain and power-line variables.
After this job, I hope they know there is NO JOB too big for them. With thoughtful planning and teamwork, strictly abiding to constant communication, this "lawn service" added some serious notches to their belt. I hope they are proud of the job they did. What a phenomenal job and incredibly positive experience they have shown at a time otherwise devastating.
Extremely professional crew with old school work ethics & integrity. ❤️ These young men obviously care about what they do and who they do it for. Lord I hope we don't have to buzz them again any time soon but if we ever have an emergency like this again, I won't call anyone BUT them.
Thank you guys for such a professionally done service no matter how challenging the last few days have been.
