Vivace Music Academy

I am so grateful that both my daughters are able to attend such an amazing music school. I initially had them enrolled in Violin, but after discussing their musical interests with the Director, Mr. Antonio Rincon, he encouraged me to place them in piano--I am so glad I listened to him! They have been taking lessons for the past 4 months and have made so much progress in a short amount of time! I would recommend Vivace Music Academy to anyone looking for an enthusiastic and encouraging environment for their child to learn to play a musical instrument!

An excellent music academy!! We have three children who have been enrolled with Vivace and they each have made strides in learning their respective instruments—piano, violin, and guitar. Antonio, the owner, is very responsive, and even found a way to engage our three students in a song together at their recital. Five stars!! Would recommend

My niece and nephew attend the Vivace Music Academy and I had the pleasure of taking them to their weekly lessons over the summer. After watching and listening to the lessons over the past month, I had to write a review about this academy. My nephew is in a high music level, basically preparing to audition to top college music programs while my niece is just starting her music path. The academy is so well rounded with its highly skilled and professional teachers along with a comprehensive music curriculum that I was able to witness my niece and nephew walk away from their lessons with a great sense of accomplishment each time. The family waiting room is comfortable and the office staff is friendly and open to answer any questions you may have.

Mr Rincon has been teaching our children violin for years. He is an excellent teacher and very enthusiastic about his students. We highly recommend Vivace Academy.

My son has been taking violin lessons with Mr. Rincon for over six years now and we are thrilled to be part of the academy. Mr. Rincon is very professional, and aspires to bring out the best in every student one note at a time. He is a great teacher, and his artistic ability comes through throughout each and every lesson.

Mr. Rincon is an incredible musician as well as an amazing instructor. He is patient, passionate about the violin and about the quality of instruction, enthusiastic, professional, and a qenuinely kind and caring person. He took me on as an adult student and was supportive, encouraging, and very patient. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent violin instructor. p.s. I tried another instructor before I found him and...yikes. There is no comparison.

I have 2 daughters who attend Vivace Music Academy and absolutely love it ! Mr Rincon has been their teacher for past 5 years and they love him too ! The relationship Mr Rincon has with his students is not your typical, I’m the teacher, you’re the student type of relationship. From day 1, Antonio told them, they are all fellow musicians and he was going to treat them as professionals and he expected them to treat him the same way. Both my girls have made outstanding progress under his mentoring. Mr Rincon is a father of young musicians himself and he possesses a kindness and patience that you would come to expect from a father. If you have a child who wants to learn an instrument, choose Antonio Rincon and Vivace Music Academy, you won’t regret it ! If you have a child who has not been making the progress you think they should be making with their current teacher, or they have lost their passion for their instrument, switch to Antonio Rincon and Vivace Music Academy and watch them regain their passion and elevate their level of playing to new heights ! Our daughter is a student at Vivace Music Academy and has had an amazing experience in terms of her growth as a musician but her commitment as well! Mr. Rincon and his staff are very talented and professional!

My experience with Vivace music academy was less than what I expected. The instructor spent more time focused on showing how to hold the bow and violin then actually playing and this continued lesson after lesson. It’s pricey already so if you’re spending $200 plus/month and you aren’t playing music just holding the instrument and doing arm movements like your in a yoga class...you’re better off going elsewhere to learn (new instructor, youtube, app etc). Not to mention the unprofessionalism Antonio displayed over the phone with bashing another potential music instructor based on price due to the suggestion of going elsewhere was already a bad sign. Time management was another issue..leaving a student in the room and letting other people walk in without announcing the lesson was over is a lack of poor communication. I wouldn’t recommend this school for learning the violin..

Our daughter started with Mr. Rincon approximately two years ago. Almost immediately, she started playing with more confidence and a more refined sound. She loves her lessons and gets much more out of her practice time than she did previously.
