Jose and his crew built a large patio and repaired some drainage issues for us. After receiving a few quotes, we selected Virginia Drainage because they were responsive, gave us the best price and we were not asked to reserve 90 minutes for a sales pitch. We were impressed with the work they did as well as their promptness. They showed up on schedule, and came every day until the work was completed. They finished all work within a week, even working on the weekend. When the work was completed, they did a terrific job with clean up. The communication with the company was also very good and the admin staff is nice and responsive. I highly recommend Virginia Drainage.

We obtained several bids for a multi-part drainage project to tie together seven gutter drains, egress at the back of the property via two underground channels, and replace removed driveway asphalt with a cement swale. Virginia Drainage came in at half the price of a near-peer competitor proposal, scheduled the work within weeks instead of a six-month wait, and completed the job in one day vice three days. The proposal, the project lead, the work crew, and the office staff were all highly professional, competent, and personable. We are very happy with the results and would readily use Virginia Drainage again.

From the start of the project when I reached out to them for the estimate to the day of the work and it’s completion everything went smoothly and exactly as planned. Both of our AC units were not evenly leveled which caused performance issues that needed to be resolved. Virginia Drainage & Erosion (VDE) was extremely responsive and prompt with scheduling an inspection and providing a solution for several drainage issues around our home along with quotes for performing the work. They were also very reactive to a supplier issue with materials we initially ordered when scheduling the work with VDE, and rescheduling our work on short notice around the supply issues. The work completed of regrading our yard and installing a new patio was done very quickly and professionally, and the crew were very clean and respectful. We are extremely pleased with the results so far, and will almost certainly contact VDE again to resolve any other issues or improvements we desire in the future.

Fast forward to the day of the work, and they arrive exactly when they say they will, and they bring a large team of well-trained personnel that are able to complete all of our various drainage projects within about 6 hours. They cleaned up everything before they left and took the time to walk us through each of the various improvements they had made to our property. In closing, I have to mention Jose, who provided our initial estimate and ultimately led the team doing the work. He was extremely honest with us and blew us away with how competently he could address all of our many questions. Honestly, five stars doesn’t go far enough to articulate how great an experience we had working with this company.

I recently had Virginia Drainage complete a major drainage project at my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The crew and especially the crew leader were incredibly professional, efficient, and knowledgeable from start to finish. They installed over 150 feet of French drainage and routed everything cleanly and effectively out to the street which was another 100 feet. What impressed me most was how fast and organized the team was; they completed the entire project in just two days without cutting any corners. The worksite was left clean and tidy, and the quality of the installation gave me complete confidence that the drainage issues are finally resolved.

We had VA Drainage to build a 130 ft long timber retaining wall and established a lawn behind the wall to prevent severe soil erosions on the sloppy backyard. Jose provided me with good, detailed recommendations with 3 different options. The work quality and outcome have exceeded my expectation: The architecture of the retaining wall blends perfectly with my backyard environment & serves its purpose. The administrative staff responded to my questions efficiently & coordinated well with scheduling. After the completion of the project, they came back to reseed the lawn for empty spots - good customer services. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Extremely professional and hard working crew. I’m extremely pleased with their recommendations and outcome. I had another company come out, but Jose’s knowledge level about how to keep water away from our basement, sold me. All the work is aesthetically pleasing too which adds to my level of satisfaction!
