I needed a quality auto shop and a neighbor suggested Vigorous Automotive. I took my 2013 Ford F-150 XLT Super crew over to them. They performed an engine diagnostic complete with cylinder pictures of the bore showing me the damage inside. No question there. Michael and his crew are top notch. Very knowledgeable, very professional and compassionate. I ended up replacing the engine and motor mounts, as it was less expensive than to overhaul the old engine. I also had them replace the radiator, front struts and control arms and bushings. I had other work done also but the point is... If you're looking for a top shelf high quality auto repair shop, Vigorous Automotive is the place. They are completely honest about the repairs you may need and never turn on the high pressure to get you to choose them or make your possible repairs sound worse than they are. Michael and his crew are the only shop to touch my vehicles. Vigorous automotive is hands down the best shop I have ever dealt with and will ever deal with. If you have read all my review, then you need to go to Vigorous Automotive. The customer service is the absolute best and they keep you informed on your repair all the way through. They are the best.

This shop is top of the line service , care about the customer and genuine workmanship . Had an incident while traveling thru San Antonio On a Saturday and they quickly diagnose and repair /replace alternator for my Mercedes . I had an amazing experience with Michael from Vigorous. He came to New Braunfels from San Antonio twice in one day first to diagnose my problem which he did extremely quickly. I was really impressed., The second to get my parts that were needed back in San Antonio and come back to finish the job all in a timely fashion same day and a SATURDAY at that. Now that is service done right! I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience I had and how talented and nice Michael was to work with. He even taught me a lot as he worked on my 68 stingray convertible (it's hard to trust anyone with that car as it's very special to me). For a mobile service, his rates or a very, very fair IMO. I would definitely use Vigorous again if I had mobile or even any Automotive needs. It's so nice to not have to tow your car. Leave it at the shop. Felt like a VIP experience 100%!

I was so glad I got all my work done here.got 6” lift,air intake,steps,exhaust and rims and tires:) and when I had issue getting the rims I wanted he went out of his way to find them and get them to his shop.i was updated with all work being done and if was an issue he let me asap.he truly cares about customer satisfaction and takes pride in what he does.and that is rare to find in a mechanic.not only do i recommend him to others i want to bring in my other cars to see what magic he can do for them:) when he was done with my truck it brought life back into and I felt like i bought a new truck:) thanks for the awesome job:)

I've had my vehicle serviced here a few times since my vehicle is a bit older now. Michael has been very accommodating and professional. I like being able to go to his shop vs a dealership, it's less stressful. I'd recommend coming here if you like a more personalized experience, competitive pricing and a job well done.
