Eating low density carbohydrates such as vegetables, fruits, and whole grains may be an effective way to reduce appetite and lose weight. A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that eating more low density carbohydrates resulted in lower post-meal appetite ratings and a lower desire to eat. Lower density carb sources usually contain more water and fiber, increasing feelings of fullness and satiety. Plus these are mostly fruits and vegetables, which have multitudes of micronutrients that are vital for optimal health!
