Went here last night after my sons cat was unwell and vomiting after it was discharged from st Georges Vets. Called up got appointment at vets now when got there Receptionist sneeta she was star and assured me that my sons cat would be ok I was chatting to her while they checked him over sneeta was so helpful. Check up was done and nurse called me into the room and explained to me even if we do CPR its not guaranteed he will make it through in the pain he was in but unfortunately the last option was to put him to sleep and rest.. u can't fault these vets. They tried there best sparky we miss you😪 😭

A stray cat turned up at my house, it was clearly in no fit state to be outside and was showing clear signs of antifreeze poisoning. My partner took the cat to the vets yet the vet claimed the cat looked fine and to let it back out. They also claimed the cats microchip was registered in the street it was found in, it wasn't. My partner brought the cat home and kept the poor girl warm until a rescue turned up to take her. Unfortunately the stray cat didn't make it and the vets didn't even bother to contact the owner at the point of arrival when it was taken there originally. Due to the sheer amount of neglect from the vet on duty this cat suffered for 12 hours when this could've quite easily have been prevented but no because it's a stray and not a paying customer they didn't care less. The vet has a duty of care, which has been abused in this case and I sincerely hope she receives some for of reproductions from this. We also have a picture of the cat before it was taken to the vets and every person that has been shown this agreed the cat doesn't look well at all!

When we took our beloved Frenchie we were terrified we were going to lose her. From the moment we met the vet we were reassured she was in good hands. Throughout the treatment the communication was excellent and the reassurance and sensitivity from the reception team to the vets was outstanding. Our baby is almost back to her usual self and we cannot express how grateful we are. Thankyou so much ❤️

Brought our terrier in as an emergency after hours, believing her to have all the symptoms of a stroke. Very caring approach. The vet, Gorka, was excellent and informative. His advice in a very stressful situation was calm and well explained. The people on the desk explained charges clearly and helped with insurance forms. Treatment for a nasty ear infection has been effective and our dog is thankfully on the mend.

I attended this clinic last night around 11pm for an emergency appointment after my dog developed a swelling at her spay site. I had researched the symptoms and suspected it was a seroma or haematoma — I even double-checked my understanding online and via an AI chat assistant. On examination, the vet performed an ultrasound and advised that he believed it was a hernia. I showed photos taken just an hour apart that demonstrated the swelling had grown rapidly, which didn’t seem consistent with a hernia, but this concern wasn’t really addressed. I explained my concerns to the vet aboout the poor reviews on google and that im very anxious a hernia is a misdiagnosis. He said nobody told me to go there (not in rude way) and directed me to another clinic. The cost was c£350, received no treatment or medication, and was sent home. Within a short time, the swelling worsened further and began leaking clear fluid. My regular vet has now confirmed it is not a hernia, and is indeed a seroma/haematoma, which is now being treated. I understand emergencies can be difficult to assess, but I was disappointed that such an expensive visit resulted in what appears to have been a misdiagnosis and very limited explanation or follow-up advice. I will be raising a complaint. Better communication and consideration of the evidence presented would have made a stressful situation much easier.

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better team to look after my pet and they made everything so easy for me, better than my normal vet I go to in the day! If only they operated 24 hours, i would be with them directly! AMAZING!

I have been with St George's in Wolverhampton for 30 years nearly and now the emergency services is outsourced to Vets Now I am removing all 8 animals, charging £800 for overnight stay is unjustified when its not intensive care, Black's Vets do not outsource and they average at £200 a night which is what St George's used to be, Vets Now is only interested in getting rich by making people get severely into debt because most insurance's won't pay hospital overnight fees that high so I advise people to ensure your Vets don't outsource emergency services if they do move your babies to a vet that do not outsource you will get the same care but it will be thousands of pounds cheaper if your baby gets ill. Carmel vets in Wolverhampton outsource to Vets Now move your babies to another vets Update Hope is now walking again still weak on back left leg but massive improvement, Black's Vets was amazing, they agreed with me that best place for her was at home with me not in a hospital, took her off 2 out of 3 meds that St George's gave me because she was over medicated and would not be good for her, goes back 22nd December for check up, based on what I have seen this morning with her walking she will make a full recovery, I don't blame the actual vets at St George's because I think they are getting pressured to give out excessive meds and telling clients they need to do stuff that is not needed so the corporation that owns them can get richer quicker, disgusting behaviour, animals are like humans they feel the only difference is they can't talk so its easier for these corporations to take advantage of this when they get ill because we have to trust what a vet tells you, all my babies are now registered at Black's Vets in Sedgley and will be staying there

Dont use!! Only interested in money!! Someone took a cat they found in there and you could see it needed help but they told the people to put it back where they found it as they couldnt contact the owners(the cat was in a bad way/ disorientedand looked drugged). luckily a cat rescue stepped up, they managed to contact the owners but the cat still passed away within 12 hours!! Despite the rescue doing all it can!!! This vets should be ashamed of itself and the vet!!

Rang Vets Now yesterday as I was concerned about my little dog, he previously had an ear infection around 5 weeks ago, and was displaying the same symptoms again, his balance had completely gone & was visibly in a lot of discomfort. We arrived within half an hour, but had to wait around an hour to be seen, which was expected as the surgery was very busy. The reception staff were really, really lovely, and very helpful. We were then seen by the vet, with no real diagnosis- just going off the fact it may be a relapsed ear infection from his previous symptoms. All of this vital signs were fine, but nothing else could really be done, there was no odour, wax or redness, so a little concerned if the infection is much deeper, or being caused by something else, steroids were given - and advised to book in with our own vets on Monday. A little disappointing given the cost of the appointment- with no real diagnosis or certainty. To then be advised to go to my own vets to see what is actually wrong, I felt a little bit fobbed off. Vet experience was great, but other members of staff were really lovely. Especially Lance - sorry I think I’ve got that right. He’s a credit to your practice.

I had to take my cat with what I thought was just a poorly paw, sadly this wasn't the case, it was a blood clot with heart problems and totally and utterly unexpected at having to have him put to sleep, as you can imagine I was totally devastated but each step of the way the vet was clear with her diagnosis and answered all questions. All staff showed compassion and understanding, all communication before and after my visit was clear they truly do seem to care . Thank you for caring ❤️
