STANDARD CARE AT HUGE EXPENSE
The care was as I would expect from any qualified vets. However, £380 something was ridiculous just to be seen and then overpriced drugs on top of that.
No one expects the service for free, but this private equity business owned chain of veterinary ‘care’ providers….which is now a monopoly as with the big money based vets, is hugely detrimental to animal welfare and owners of pets on a financial level.
No longer are they here to provide a service based on fair business practices and compassion, but rather a cost unregulated group of companies - vets are unregulated as to what they can charge so it’s open season on your wallet - and are subsequently using the emergency angle, and deep love most owners have for their pets to maximise profits.
According to my insurance company, this is solely what is driving up the cost pet insurance. How very convenient for all.
Great staff, hugely let down by a money grubbing industry using unfortunate and tragic situations to profit from animal lovers.
