Vets Now, Staines could NOT have done anymore to put my anxiety at ease as I was close to a panic attack after my 22 week old show, Dark Blue Roan, English Cocker Spaniel, Billie Bluebell had suspectedly ingested up to 6 of my OxyCodone capsules, which incidentally are a high strength opiate and as each capsule was 20mg. She could have easily ingested up to 120 mg. (Oxycodone overdoses make your heart rate slow down to eventually it stops!! Heath Ledger, the famous Actor overdosed on it, together with Diazepam and another drug!!! BEWARE!!! ) Nicki, the Receptionist was very professional and extremely efficient but that didn’t stop her from being very empathetic and extremely helpful. Top marks for her enthusiastic approach. In fact this approach made me relax, considering on the way to my friend’s car I fell over quite seriously and at one point I was in so much pain I didn’t think I would be able to drive zBillie to Dtsines. My friend was holding Billie as she needed to keep Billie awake. My friend could not drive as she had already taken her night medication and also she can’t drive in the dark. The whole process at Vets Now was fully explained by Alex, the Veternarian Surgeon along with the fully detailed costs and once I had signed the form I think the procedure had already been done. I was given charcoal to take away to help with the procedure aftermath and we were good to go after she was sick. All in all, Vets Now we’re fabulous!! I could NOT have asked for a BETTER service. I hope I don’t have to deal with the stress of using their services again with my 3 English cocker spaniels A+ VETERINARY CARE!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VETS NOW !!

I had to take my beloved cat to the Emergency Clinic, Vets Now in Staines. What good fortune to have the most extraordinary Vet, Natalie on duty. With 30 years experience, having worked in the Kruger National Park taking care of Wildlife for many years, she was compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, straight talking and clearly a lover of animals. Her advice and treatment of my cat has transformed his life, even after only 5 days on her treatment plan he has come alive and back to what he once was, extending his life expectancy. Natalie is a treasure, an absolute asset to Vets Now and I for one am incredibly grateful to have had the benefit of her professionalism, vast experience and compassion. A heartfelt thankyou. It's important to also mention the staff at Vets Now - each and everyone, from the Receptionist to the Managing Vet, Grace, were marvellous. If I could rate Vets Now in Staines, I would give them 10 Stars.

I can't fault the staff at all. The vets and receptionist staff there were amazing. Really friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable. They even sent me an email with a photo of my little one overnight, to keep me from worrying too much. So a massive thank you to them! The only reason I give 3 stars is the price. To me it seems EXTREMELY expensive. It was over £300 just for the consultation alone, before even giving any treatment. I had no choice but to use the out of hours service, but it seems a real rip off to charge people so much in an emergency, when they are at their wits end trying to ensure their beloved pet doesn't die. To put it in context, my vet bill for having my pet castrated, kept in all day and then follow on treatment over the following days (including another stay all day) was less than £600 at my usual vet. A single stay overnight with medication cost me £1.5k with Vets Now. Much as I appreciated the help, I do think the prices need to be reviewed. That being said, my bun is now happy and healthy again, so thank you!

Lovely vet who took my rabbit in for treatment as he wasn't eating and not moving. They kept him overnight for treatment and we collected him the next day and had to take him to our own vet as when we got home he just flopped down and looked awful. I couldn't afford another night with Vets Now as no insurance because we found him abandoned in a car park. Tried to get him in a rabbit shelter but they all said they were full so we looked after him. Was disappointed that the vets charged 2 lots of stay at £113 each when he stayed in the same accommodation. Our bill came to around £1200.00. We love this little rabbit so paid it but couldn't afford for him to stay any longer. Think that charging twice for his keep was too much

The service itself was fine but because it was out of hours it cost £340. That is insane. Veterinary practices are operating as a cartel. The Government needs to step in and prices need to be regulated.

I was seen quickly. The vet was lovely and reassuring. My dog Penny started feeling better once we got some pain meds in her, it was such a relief! Excellent service and fabulous vet!

Good emergency care but extortionate price! Consultation for my cat was perhaps 10 minutes with the vet and an anti-nausea injection, £435 !!! I understand running an emergency service will be more expensive but really, this much!

DO NOT VISIT THIS VET!!! if you can, just go to your regular day vet instead. i was charged £345 for an incomplete checkup; i brought my cat in with concerns of a urinary blockage. they only managed to check her heart rate and temperature which is ridiculous for almost £400. my cat has also never been this upset after a vet visit which makes me think they rile pets up on purpose to milk extra money for sedatives out of owners. the staff were also finding my cat’s reaction quite funny which was frankly disgusting. do not visit this practice and save your money. i can’t believe i was charged to is much for something that would cost £60 MAX at a regular vet. it’s understandable to charge more as it’s an emergency practice but this is just disgusting.

We were reluctant to use these vets due to the reviews on Google. However, we had no choice and the vet we saw was actually brilliant, as were the reception staff. They saw us promptly and billed us fairly as it was post op complications (from another practice). The vet was great with our dog, very thorough, and communicated well throughout.

Staff were friendly and understanding. However I visited my own vet the next day and they diagnosed a totally different and worse cause. If I hadn’t gone to them we would not know. I spent a lot of money on a wrong diagnosis.
