Took my cat in on a Sunday as suspected she had been hit by a car. They gave her an ‘x-ray’ and told me she had broken her leg at the top of the femur, they couldn’t do anything and sent her back with pain killers telling me to take her to my vets the next day. When she was taken to my vets the next day it turned out she had dislocated her leg which they could have put back in and not left her in so much pain and there was an injury to her paw the emergency vet had not noticed or dealt with. Charged £743 for this and not only were they clearly incompetent but they left an animal in unnecessary pain. Will be taking further as clearly have all the facts from my proper vet to support these points.

My dog Finley had to go to Vets now Colchester at the weekend due to being vary poorly my friend had to take him due to me being in a wheelchair and not being able to get transport. The vet phoned me to go though everything and the cost and advice I could do a direct claim so put my mind at rest all the way though his treatment. I hope I don’t have to use them again but I would if I needed to they were outstanding and the staff amazing. So thankful they could get my boy on the road to recovery.

Really caring and lovely staff who looked after our dog in his final few minutes at 5am this morning. Very caring and compassionate in a purpose built practice. Thank you to all the staff on the night shift.

Just want to say how caring and lovely everyone was when I had to bring my dog Joey in for emergency care Saturday evening. He had to stay in on a drip for 24 hours and I trusted them completely in looking after my poorly boy. They treated him like therebown dog. I was able to take him back to my own vet and continued his treatment for kidney failure.....but unfortunately I lost him yesterday, his kidneys were just too worn out.......

I am so glad I took my Roly to you. I had had three vet visits and misdiagnoses. The inexperienced vet who had seen him, before I asked to be referred to you, was suggesting pts. You took my boy on and he is now home with me. Not quite out of the woods but you saved him, thank you…❤️❤️

We attended this vets after our dog (Andre) injured his spine, and from the moment we arrived, we knew he was in the best hands. The team were incredibly reassuring and supportive, especially during such a stressful and emotional time for us. The vet took the time to talk us through everything in detail, explaining what was happening and what the next steps would be. Their calm, professional, and compassionate approach really helped to ease our nerves. We’re so grateful for the care and attention they gave not just to our dog Andre, but to us as well. Thank you for everything.

Answered the phone promptly when I had to call for an emergency. The operator was informative and helped me find a vet to take my cat to. Once there, the vet Harriet was reassuring and knowledgeable of the condition my cat was in. My boy is a spicy orange and she handled him well, and Harriet if you see this, I’m so sorry again for Nacho’s behaviour!! I felt calm and was informed of the next steps in terms of making a claim thanks to the staff at Vets Now and I am so thankful they were able to help my boy!

Thank you all so much for taking care of Charlie. I know it was the right thing to do and you treated us both with such care and empathy. Thank you too for the seeds and card. What a beautiful way to say goodbye and offer support. Much appreciated. And yes. There is a very large dog shaped hole in our home and hearts. 🥰

I was walking back from town last night when I very sadly found a cat who had been hit and had sadly passed away. I got my partner to drive round and we took the cat straight to Vets Now Colchester. I didn’t think to phone ahead which I should’ve done in hindsight, but when we arrived the vet was so welcoming and understanding. She allowed us to wait whilst she checked for a microchip and other information. Unfortunately, no details could be found but she took the time to explain to me what would happen next and took my details incase the owners come forward. The vet was so kind and caring and I’m so grateful for her help at such a distressing time. I didn’t catch her name, but thank you so much if you see this.

Appalling service. Our beloved had to be put down in the early hours. The practice gave is no information about cremations . Did answer phone calls for two weeks then called us 2055 one evening saying they had been trying to contact about the bill, which is rubbish! After three separate requests finally sent through the information we needed.
