I rarely leave bad reviews, but the way this vet made me feel was absolutely awful.
My cat, who spends most of his time outdoors and only comes home occasionally to eat, was hit by a van. I had to make an emergency appointment outside of normal hours for him to be seen at the emergency clinic.
The receptionist was incredibly kind and sympathetic — she was the only positive part of this experience. Unfortunately, the vet was the complete opposite: rude, arrogant, and completely lacking in empathy. When I tried to explain that it can be difficult to catch an outdoor cat, his response was, “That’s your problem, not mine.” He even told me I could go somewhere else if I didn’t like it.
I paid over £400 for this visit, and for that amount, I expected at least a basic level of compassion and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling judged, dismissed, and deeply upset. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from someone in a caring profession. Extremely disappointed.
