Lovely Freddie was taken to his local vet showing signs of vomiting, diarrhoea, and unsteadiness. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated and he was referred to our team at Vets Now Manchester Hospital for advanced care and investigation.
After thorough testing, including blood work and an ultrasound, our team diagnosed Freddie with Addison’s disease, a condition where the adrenal glands fail to produce enough vital hormones such as cortisol and aldosterone.
Thanks to swift diagnosis and treatment, Freddie is now back home and doing well, successfully managing his condition. ❤️
