NEVER been to a more friendly and knowledgeable surgery. The staff were amazing and were ultra thorough. They saw my anxieties and took the time to assure me that my pup would be ok. Honestly, I wouldn't even complain about the out of hours/ emergency fee...it was worth every penny, and I would pay it again happily for a service of that standard. Highly highly recommended.

We called on a Saturday evening when our dog Pierre had spent a bit too long in the sun and was recovering but all advice online said to take him straight to the vet. We spoke to a Veterinary Nurse called Natalie who was wonderful and both put our mind at rest but gave us key signs to monitor and home treatment to help his recovery. Simple, straightforward advice given incredibly well which both helped Pierre and saved us all a very stressful experience. Thank you Natalie A few pics of Pierre as courtesy 😀

I had to visit Vets Now Doncaster with my cat due to an eye problem. While I appreciate that they were able to provide care after midnight, my feelings about the experience are mixed. The staff were professional and the treatment was prompt, but the prices were extremely high — especially for the medication, which was charged at nearly five times the regular cost. As long as I understand high prices for emergency appointment- charging 5x more for medication is just simply unethical. If you’re a pet owner, I’d strongly recommend having a well-prepared first aid kit for your pet and keeping some basic medications on hand. It can help you avoid using emergency vets unless it’s absolutely necessary and save you from the shockingly high costs.

Sadly had to bring my cat to the vets around midnight a few days ago. We had called up first and they were ready for when we arrived. They took great care of my cat, unfortunately she had to be put to sleep and they were so caring towards her and myself and my partner. They gave us the time to say goodbye and we really appreciate how compassionate they were.

After a huge panic with my boy being unable to breathe, vets now Doncaster got him in straight away even though it was out of hours, assessed quickly and knew what the problem was straight away. Thank you for saving my boy and helping him through his struggle.

Excellent care of my dog, so lovely and kind - absolutely fantastic couldnt fault it ar all! Saw my dog in 25 minutes and treated straight away. Rating 5 for care, but was way more expensive then I was expecting just to walk through the door before any treatment which shocked me massively - and of course over a barrel with that as no other option after my vet had closed.

Had to take my labrador on a Sunday afternoon With a grass seed in her ear. Staff was really good and did their job really well And sorted my little girl out professionally. The only thing is the cost of such veterinary care Not all people can afford pet insurance and if your having to pay it out in the first instance, how many people would leave their pet to suffer because they could not afford to pay the prices The animals should come first, I know they have to make a profit i understanding that, but out of hours vet care is ridiculous prices. 726 pound to get a grass seed out of a dogs ear is a lot of money, but you never want your beloved pet to suffer. Please try and put the animals first this is what your there for and you trained to do the job you love without such overpriced treatment

Would give them less if I could! Rang them today ( sat 19th July at around 1pm) about our cat who had a op ( not with them I might had, thankfully) but with our usual vets, but as they was closed, it put us through to these emergency vets. As she had caught her wound and was bleeding and we sent photos to them to see if we needed to bring her in and they said when the vet gets to check them that they would get back to us! Well it's not now 20.57 and still nothing from them! So shouldn't call themselves emergency vets in my opinion.

We arrived very early hours of Saturday morning with our extremely poor dog Blue. Blue was seen quickly and within minutes we were told the worst news ever, we were loosing him (fast). The team made him comfortable and when we saw him he looked so calm. Inevitably, he was PTS and we were by his side holding his paws, comforting him. The team were great, they explained everything clearly and were so caring. They dealt with Blue's cremation and insurance paperwork and were prompt to get his ashes back to us along with two beautiful paw prints for us to treasure. Thank you so much.

Just called this clinic to ask for some advice on my 13yr old pooch. Wanted ALL my personal details prior to giving any info on fees etc. Only after explaining my poorly girls symptoms did they then ask for £302 consultation fee upfront!!! Exploitation and profiteering at its finest!!! Other reviews on here stating the same and the same excuse every time blaming the costs to run an out of hours service. I called at 3.30pm on a Saturday afternoon…. Not at 2am on Christmas Day!!! £302 consultation fee is unsupportable, unacceptable and in my case unaffordable!! Especially after 3 vet visits to my regular vet during the week. Thank you so much Vets Now Doncaster for causing delay in my girls treatment!!! I’m absolutely appalled
