The triage nurse and the vet, Emma and Sarah (I think) were so friendly, supportive and caring as well as being highly professional. My gorgeous boy, Max, was having palliative care for cancer at home but I believed him to be in pain and just needed confirmation/reassurance he wasn't and I was given that. I was also advised that I could make a small change to his medication, if I felt he needed it. I went away happy and would certainly recommend this practice to anyone who needs an emergency vet. Thank you so much for putting my mind at rest.

I have never known a vet support me as the owner and care for my girl as much as during my experience for emergency surgery. It is as though she was also part of their family. I love how excited Ximo is to phone you with updates , he really understands how you feel and I honestly could not have asked for more

They always take the best care of our dogs here, the staff talk and interact with then and you can see they actually care about animals. The staff are always friendly and helpful and give as much reassurance as they can (as always there are no guarantees when animals are sick) yet they have saved my parents dogs life twice now after she twisted her stomach, her original practice were not willing to operate till the morning where should would have passed away in the night. The dogs always spring back from any illness or surgery here very quickly. While yes as it is out of hours vets it is expensive, as it would be anywhere, however I can tell that every time one of our animals has been in they have been well looked after there answered every call and concern and kept up updated, I can't thank them enough.

Excellent service. Vets Now had my cat overnight for 2 nights and looked after him well. Good communication skills on keeping me update on how my cat was doing and what he needed.

We inadvertently left a mince pie within the reach of our dog Albie. Knowing this could be a real problem, we rang Vets Now to get him in. The receptionist was brilliant, taking all the details in a calm and friendly manner, unlike myself, and after giving us the address, even told us how long it would take to get to them. The service on arrival was again, excellent. They got him sorted out and I was informed exactly what they were going to do, and what they ended up doing. All things considered, and excellent outcome all round.

We called on a Saturday evening when our dog Pierre had spent a bit too long in the sun and was recovering but all advice online said to take him straight to the vet. We spoke to a Veterinary Nurse called Natalie who was wonderful and both put our mind at rest but gave us key signs to monitor and home treatment to help his recovery. Simple, straightforward advice given incredibly well which both helped Pierre and saved us all a very stressful experience. Thank you Natalie A few pics of Pierre as courtesy 😀

I attended the practice on an emergency out-of-hours basis after my dog suffered a deep cut to his paw from a glass shard during a walk. We were seen by two nurses. One of them was very kind, professional, and reassuring, which I greatly appreciated, Unfortunately, the other nurse came across as disengaged and gave the impression that they did not want to be there or assist, which affected the overall experience. From my understanding, a wound of this nature should be properly cleaned before being dressed. While the paw was checked for any remaining glass, I was asked to confirm myself whether I believed anything was still inside. The wound was then bandaged without being cleaned beforehand. I appreciate that out-of-hours services come at a premium, and I fully expected higher costs. However, £365 for approximately 20 minutes, combined with the level of care and atmosphere experienced, felt disappointing and not reflective of the standard I would expect. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there was clearly a difference in attitude between staff members, and improvements in patient care and communication would make a significant difference.

The vet and nurse were both excellent with my dog. The vet was very thorough in her examination of her injured leg, the probable causes and how to treat it. She explained everything fully and also the reason for her yarking. It was a positive experience.

I needed the service of an out of hours Vets. Vets for now were on call and the service was excellent. The receptionist was pleasant polite and efficient. The vet treat me with respect acknowledging my experience etc and listened so well to my concerns. Very pleased with service and attitude to both my cat and myself.

Our dog was admitted very quickly and without any problems. The service was very friendly and professional. The doctor thoroughly examined our dog and confirmed the unfortunate diagnosis. She received an injection and, fortunately, survived until the next morning. She underwent surgery this morning and is now recovering. I'm deducting one star for the cost of the consultation and injection. I understand that this is an emergency service after hours, but such high prices are a misconception, as not everyone can afford to save their pets. EDITED.... Our dog is recovering well after surgery. Thank you for your concern. However, I disagree with the prices of veterinary services in the UK, especially after-hours services. In my opinion, a service performed at 2:00 PM is no different from a service performed at, say, 11:00 PM or 2:00 AM. The medication a dog needs is available at a fixed price, say, £20. So why does administering this medication at 2:00 PM cost £30 and at 2:00 AM cost £70, if it's the same medication? Generally, the prices of veterinary services in the UK are probably the highest in the world, especially after-hours services, and there's no explanation for this. Probably only the desire for a very large and quick profit. Besides the unusual time of day, nothing else influences the cost. And I understand that it may be a bit more expensive, but such high prices compared to other countries are a major misconception.
