Ted, a handsome Airedale Terrier, was enjoying his summer holiday in Scotland with his family when he suddenly fell very ill. 🥺
He was quickly diagnosed with severe thrombocytopenia, a critical condition of a shortage of platelets in the blood.
Our Vets Now Pet Emergency Hospital Glasgow ECC team cared for Ted in the intensive care unit for four days. He received a blood transfusion, which significantly improved his condition.
As you can see, Ted was thrilled to be reunited with his family and continue his travels! The team are so glad to have been there for him and his family. ❤️
