Tiny 5-month-old Matilda was left on the brink of death when she was suddenly mauled by another dog while walking at her local park.
Matilda suffered horrific injuries, including paralysed legs, broken ribs and a bite wound which pushed bone into her spinal cord. Diane, Matilda's owner, broke her free and immediately went to our 24-hour pet hospital in Manchester.
Against all odds, our team managed to save poor Matilda's life as they worked with her through the night.
Diane says: "she's only here because of Paul and his amazing colleagues - I can't thank them enough for their dedication and kindness. They never gave up on Matilda, not even when her heart stopped."
