Mungo came to Vets Now Manchester Hospital after being referred by his vets to our cardiology department. Mungo is a very handsome St Bernard weighing a whopping 75kg. His owners had noticed Mungo had been panting a little more than usual and visited his vets, who discovered he had a low-grade heart murmur.
Mungo was seen by our Cardiologist, James McMurrough, who performed some blood tests, heart scans and X-rays, and he was discharged later that day. This gentle giant is happy to be home with his loving family, including the family's other Saint Bernard and Chihuahua. 🐶
