Brave boy Hugo recently battled with a conditioned called Immune Mediated Haemolytic Anaemia (IMHA), which is when the body attacks it's own red blood cells.
Hugo came to our Vets Now Manchester Hospital extremely weak and pale. Throughout his stay with us, he needed 4 separate blood transfusions and specialist medication to calm his immune system.
Following 10 days in our hospital receiving round-the-clock care from the team, Hugo was able to go home and was ready to recover surrounded by his loving family ❤️
