Fred was recently rushed to our Vets Now Manchester Hospital out-of-hours after a suspected road traffic accident. Unable to stand or walk on his back legs, our team quickly got to work to help him.
X-rays revealed injuries to both back legs so Fred underwent surgery to repair his broken leg. At first, our team were able to pop his hip back into place. Unfortunately, it didn’t stay put, and he later needed a second operation to remove the damaged part of the joint, a procedure that will allow him to walk comfortably and live a pain-free life.
Fred is now back home resting, enjoying plenty of TLC and a many a cosy blanket. ❤️
