We have to say that these vets are the greediest vets we have ever come across. Money first every time. We took our unwell dog Saffi to them as she was just not herself, they looked at her and sadly said they thought she had a Tumour that may have started to rupture and prognosis V.Poor and did we want a scan to confirm we said yes and diagnosis confirmed. We agreed immediately to put her to sleep and laid on the floor cuddling her while she was anaesthetized. We wrapped her in a blanket still crying and said we wanted to take her home to be buried. As we were about to leave the little room we were faced with a vet nurse with a cash card machine and asked if we could pay 995.00 for that evening before we left. 995.00 for a scan and to put our precious dog Saffi to sleep. Disgraceful, and then to request immediate payment when we are known for our prompt payment and never ever owed, having used Wood Street for years. Every person we have told is absolutely gobsmacked at the Greed and the uncaring manner and request. We have been patients for years and indeed paid 3500.00 Pnds.early in 2025 for another of our dogs that were treated by Vets Now with antibiotics and fluid for a week! It's coming to light now that money wins for them every time over the pets they treat. Such a sad time for beloved pets in this area.

This is the best practice ever. They literalky saved the life, and took good care of, my pet Misty after a heart faulure. The doctors and nurses are also very friendly and make the owners/legal guardians feel at ease. They provide emotional support with prompt realistic updates.

Brilliant service and so happy the practice was open 24 hours for emergency. Also my cat Hershey is now well on his way to recovery so thank you the vet that had seen him and prescribed the medication. Fantastic service that I would highly recommend.

4 stars only for the vets themselves who are always lovely, compassionate and amazing. I can’t give lower than that because of amazing vets. But the vets now company is evil. Tripled in price when they took over. Can’t justify these costs when the world class RVC nearby is 3 times lower for emergency visit.

While I am grateful that emergency treatment was provided for my pet, I was deeply disappointed with what followed. The overwhelming focus on payment left me feeling that financial recovery was prioritised above compassion and understanding. At a time when pet owners are vulnerable and distressed, empathy should not take second place to billing discussions.

Don’t feel I was taken seriously. My rabbit seemed very poorly with diarrhoea. Once arrived my rabbit was taken straight through when i spoke with the vet my concern was dismissed and was unsure why I have bought her to an emergency vet as it was eating the hay in the carrier which I was surprised as I had not see her eat for 2 days, gave her metacam which I thought was not good for diarrhoea and antibiotics and left as the vet did not see any issues but she died about 30 hrs later. Very disappointed with the treatment plan as I took her to the emergency vet to save her life leaving thinking there was no need to have bought her to the emergency yet she dies so soon after.

Lovely overnight service after major surgery on my 4 year old Rottweiler. Thanks you very much for the great service and helpful information provided by a professional caring vet. Putting mother and puppies well-being first. Thank you thank you thank you.

The vet was nice and friendly and gave good, thorough, clear advice and information. My dog was operated on quite quickly and I was contacted when they said they would, which was reassuring. My only negative feedback is the cost of treatment, I feel that £360 to walk in and be seen is way too much and £3600 for surgery is shockingly expensive. But you are in their hands and want what’s best for your pet. However, i am grateful for them saving my dog.

Amazing vets practice. All the staff vets, nurses, reception were so kind, considerate and compassionate while I cried. A lot. They saved my cat with a blocked bladder and gave the both of us excellent care throughout. Massively grateful.

Really friendly and professional. Looked after our kitten very well and escalated to the Royal Veterinarian College as appropriate when specialist advice was needed. Couldn’t really ask for more and I felt involved and included in all decisions.
