We have to say that these vets are the greediest vets we have ever come across. Money first every time. We took our unwell dog Saffi to them as she was just not herself, they looked at her and sadly said they thought she had a Tumour that may have started to rupture and prognosis V.Poor and did we want a scan to confirm we said yes and diagnosis confirmed. We agreed immediately to put her to sleep and laid on the floor cuddling her while she was anaesthetized. We wrapped her in a blanket still crying and said we wanted to take her home to be buried. As we were about to leave the little room we were faced with a vet nurse with a cash card machine and asked if we could pay 995.00 for that evening before we left. 995.00 for a scan and to put our precious dog Saffi to sleep. Disgraceful, and then to request immediate payment when we are known for our prompt payment and never ever owed, having used Wood Street for years. Every person we have told is absolutely gobsmacked at the Greed and the uncaring manner and request. We have been patients for years and indeed paid 3500.00 Pnds.early in 2025 for another of our dogs that were treated by Vets Now with antibiotics and fluid for a week! It's coming to light now that money wins for them every time over the pets they treat. Such a sad time for beloved pets in this area.

This is the best practice ever. They literalky saved the life, and took good care of, my pet Misty after a heart faulure. The doctors and nurses are also very friendly and make the owners/legal guardians feel at ease. They provide emotional support with prompt realistic updates.
