Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert

The team was very nice and listened to our concerns. They had two emergency situations and kept coming back to explain and listen. They did the very best they could while trying to keep other pets alive while we were there. I completly understood and appriciated the concern the staff had for saving the life of another pet. Great dedication. I will go back here while being a part time resident. If your traveling and need them reach out they are very nice people who understand that four legged family members need quality ER care sometimes.

I had my first visit to this office, this past Sunday. They got me in rather fast and early. Very friendly and professionalism all the way through. Dr. Boyd expressed her concerns for my dog's treatment, and I proceeded with her recommendations. I did spend some money, but when you get great service, and the experience I received, that value is worth every penny! I felt like I was in good hands after my initial call, as well as knowing I was in good hands after being greeted and seen. Stewie and I thank you Doc!!!

We were visiting from out of town when our little Yorkie became ill. The care we receiived at Vet. Urgent Care was superb! We truly felt that we could trust the staff and the Vet to care for our little boy, deliver the care he needed and they did just that. We couldn't have been happier and more pleased. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts!

Thank you to all, Especially Dr Diaz who helped our “Mia” and my humans yesterday, Nick McGlynn. We were so scared after being told we had to get Mia to you, as we were told at our VCA that Mia needed to have an Ultrasound. The Dr. was so nice and helped explain everything. All Good news for us, and Our Mia. Thank you so much ! We have heard great things about you and now we know why!!!! 🐾🐶❤️

I am absolutely overjoyed with the level of service that I received. In December 2025 I brought my German Shepherd in for having a focal seizure that she was not coming out of. The moment I expressed the severity of the situation to the receptionist, she sprung into action calling a STAT situation to the back. Within 5 seconds, a team of two nurses and a doctor came out to my truck with a gurney and brought her in immediately. Not only were the nurses very thorough with their questions about the situation, but they were also considerate to ask about my wellbeing, given the situation. Even though I showed no signs of stress, that was very considerate! Once they had stabilized my dog, the doctor was very descriptive about what she observed, made recommended steps and laid out my options. I never felt pressured or stressed from my interactions with anyone in this office. This means a lot to me, because I had been taken advantage of in a major way by a different emergency pet clinic in the past. Everyone from the receptionists, to the nurses, to the doctors were very kind, helpful, and honest! I highly recommend to everyone and although I hope to never be in an emergency situation again, Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert will be my first call the next time an emergency arises. I would like to express my gratitude to the team for taking great care of Marina and myself. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Goldstein and staff. She has been absolutely amazing throughout my dog’s recent health scare and surgery. Her care, knowledge and compassion made all the difference for us. Dr. Goldstein took the time to explain everything clearly, check in frequently, and make sure our doggie was as comfortable and well-cared-for as possible. It’s obvious she genuinely loves her patients and is dedicated to giving them the best care. I’m incredibly grateful for her support during such a stressful time. Highly recommend Dr. Goldstein!

My 7 week old dachshund puppy was not feeling well in the evening. I called to make an appointment and was able to be seen 30 minutes later! The check in process was easy and the employees were very kind. The Vet himself was thorough and made decision making easy for her treatment plan. My little "mochi" is back on track and doing well. Very grateful for their expedited services!

The care was excellent, and the staff was exceptional. This is the only vet that my dog wasn't afraid to be at. EVERYONE I interacted with was amazing. Thank you. What I appreciated most is the speed in which they got us in as my dog was in a lot of distress

I appreciated the care you give to the owners in describing plans and helping owners feel comfortable even when the dog does not. I m wondering if allowing the owners to be with the dog in the initial screening as is the norm with pets could be more helpful to calming the animal in what to them may be terrifying and very strange. I was very fortunate to be greeted by Sergio when we arrived. My one year old dog would not enter the building. Sergio immediately had a solution and walked with us around the building. This gave my pup a chance to see that it was ok and Sergio was clear with her. She went right in to the room with him. Sergio was awesome! I let hem know at the time how appreciated and knowledgeable about my dog's behavior he was. So very kind and helpful. What I appreciated most is the Dr's willingness to work with me given my low income status, the ability to pick up the antibiotics at Costco, and the technician, Sergio. Im so happy that I was able to get my dog's wound cared for on a holiday weekend. Thank you.

Everything was so efficient and easy. And the pet care I received was top-notch. I had never been before and they had no records of my pet. But they accepted us like we were life-long friends. I hope I don't have the need again for urgent care while in the area, but if I do, I know I will be in good hands. The care my pet received was excellent and everything was explained in great detail. And the virtual waiting room is literally a game changer. Makes a huge difference in my pet's stress level. Highly, highly recommend.
